The Stone Cold and the fiery

Chapter 1 - The First Meeting

Today is James's dayoff, but as usual he should go to their family gathering, but this time in their hotel. As usual he got ready himself and went to their hotel. When he was going to their hotel he saw a girl who is helping small children to cross the road. Unfortunately, She was making him late for the family gathering, so he got out of his car to give her a piece of his mind. He was dazed when he neared her because she was so stunning that he was instantly pulled towards her which has never happened in his life.

But soon he came to reality and asked her what is this nonsense. Lilly was astonished to find a dashing man come to her and speak to her, but she realized that he was an arrogant idiot who is only physically handsome. Soon she came to her senses and said, "I beg your pardon? ", "I asked why are you making these children cross the road for the past 15 minutes, " he repeated. "I am sorry sir, but these children are from an orphanage nearby, and am helping the sisters to make them cross the road, " she explained.
"Can you make it quick? " he asked again. "Unfortunately for you sir, you have to wait another 15 minutes till we make all the children cross the road, " she was glad that she could see he was getting angry. "Then can you stop for a while till I pass? " he asked her even though he was at the edge of his patience. "I am sorry sir, but this is a public place, so you should wait till all the children cross the road, " she retorted.

That's it he lost it, he nodded at one of his bodyguards and soon he came to him with a stack of money. He took it and Lilly was confused as to why is he taking money. She thought 'maybe he is donating for the orphanage.' But suddenly he took her hand and slapped the stack of money and asked her to move aside for him to pass the road. She was shocked at his behaviour. As soon as she composed herself he was gone to his car. And he was driving towards her. 'He just didn't do that,' she thought and came to stand in the middle of the road. He got out of his car and came near her.

She took a big stone from the side of the road and hit the windscreen of his car. The glass was shattered and James was stunned to silence and he was shocked to find her as such a brave girl. Even Lilly was shocked as she never was rebellious. But she got so angry at the way he insulted her with his money.

'How arrogant' she thought, then she proceeded to walk towards him and threw that same stack of money on his face and said, "I don't know who you are mister, I don't take any insults from strangers. So, keep your insults to yourself. And keep that money for your broken windscreen. "

James was speechless and he couldn't find himself to reply her as he has never experienced it from a girl in his entire 26 years of life. 'She's different' he thought to himself.

She turned on her heels and went to cross the road with the children. She has never felt this much anger in her entire 22 years of life. James couldn't stop himself from thinking about her as he went to his family gathering.

He was annoyed yet he had to admit that she's the most courageous girl he has ever met because other girls were intimidated by him soon, and she's not. But, he hoped that he never has to meet her in the future.

Lilly was astonished by her behaviour and she hoped it was a one time thing and she never has to meet him again.
