Jackson

I smiled at the two boys running around the living room.

Everything is finally figured out.

"Boys, dinners ready." Taking a step back i held the kitchen door open, their playing immediately stopped. They turned and darted to the kitchen.

"Yes! Macaroni and cheese, My favorite!" Charlie, my son, yelled jumping up and down.

"That's exactly why i make it, peanut." i pinched his cheek and grabbed a plate.

"I am so glad i married you." my husband wrapped his hands around my waist.

"You better be." i chuckled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Hmm," he kissed my head "Remember when i visited you in your dorm and your roommate was gone, we were in this exact-" i elbowed his stomach.

"There is a child around, wait till he is 13 or older to let him in on these sorts of things." i hissed with a tint of red in my cheeks.

"We'll have to recreate that tonight, i think." he kissed my head once more and left me alone and began to pile mac and cheese on his plate. The three of us sat down at the table.

"I want to start a new tradition before dinner, we each say our favorite thing that happened to us this week. Carter, you start." i stuck my fork in my dinner and looked at him.
