Pops and Secret love

"Juggie!" Y/N ran to her bestfriend and their favourite booth at the diner. He smiled at Y/N and she smiled back, this seemed like it went on for ages but it was only 10 seconds before he asked her to sit."Well you gunna sit or admire my ugliness?" He teased smirking at Y/N, she laughed and slid into the opposite booth still looking at Jughead. Jughead goes back to writing on his laptop, tapping rapidly at the keyboard. Y/N watched him and smiled to herself. She loved the way Jughead was in this moment, so engaged and concentrated in his novel. She admired him in so many different ways. The way the computer screen lit up his face and his emerald eyes darting across the screen made her admire him even more. "I know I'm ugly but no need to point it out, I need a disguise like spiderman" Jughead laughed looking across the table at her. Y/N roll her eyes and giggled."Don't worry I'm just trying to figure out how to find a way to cover that up and save my poor eyes" She teased and a smirk flashed across his face."I think I should leave before your eyes completely burn" He teased and she suddenly shot up and stood infront of him."Oh hell no!" She pushed him back down and Jughead fell back into his seat."Oooo I like it when a girl is in control." Her face turned a deep scarlet and he winked and smirked up at Y/N. She got back in her own seat and winked back at him and they both stared at eachother for 3 seconds. They both bursted out laughing. "Your such a werido Jughead" She said and Jughead shrugged "Plus you wouldn't know what it's like when a girl 'is in control' the only person who takes control is your own mum and me." Jugheads face cringed. "Not a vision I wanted to see with my mum that's gross Y/N." She looked at him questionably and roll her eyes once again. "I didn't mean that dumbass." He laughed and she smirked. "You have no idea what do in my free time anyways." She raised her eyebrow."Oh yeah, totally not like I drag you to Pops all the time" She said looking across at him, he smiled at her. "Hey I do othe-" He got cut off by the waiter. "What do you guys want?" Jughead was pretty pissed off that he had got cut off but he ordered anyways. "We would like our normal order please" She said looking up at the waiter. "Normal order?" The waiter was confused and looked at Y/N questionably. Pops shouted from the kitchen, "2 burgers and fries with chocolate milkshakes!" They both looked at eachother and laughed. Jughead shouted "Thanks Pops!" He smiled at Pops as he walked out of the kitchen. "Anytime Jug" He smiled back at him and Jughead turned his attention back to Y/N. "So what were you going to say Juggie?" She giggled. "I was going to say I do other things you know, I might have a trail of women behind me wanting me for all you know!" He teased and she rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah definitely" She laughed to herself, he caught onto her sarcasm and got up. He walked over to her side and sat down next to her. "I only have time for one girl and her name is Y/N" He said putting his arm around her. Her cheeks went really red from her blushing and she looked up at him. "Luckily I only have time for one boy and his name is Jughead." It was his turn to blush and he did. He slowly got up and walked back to his own seat. "So, how's your novel Juggie?" She smiled at him. "Well it's going great but the only issue is I'm stuck for ideas on the next chapter and I was wondering if you could help me...I mean you're a writer aren't you so maybe I could look at some of your work and gather some ideas from it" He smiled at her pleadingly. Y/N started to freak out, her work was very different from his, he wrote for the Blue and Gold and his work was very open but hers was private, she wrote about very personal things- Her thoughts, feelings and her crush on Jughead. She didn't let anyone read her work because she was scared they would tell Jughead and it would break their friendship and he would hate her. But she didn't know that he felt the same about her...He loved her aswell but they couldn't get themselves to admit it to eachother. Everyone who hanged out with them knew that they loved eachother they could tell, they was always flirting with eachother but they didn't notice they were flirting, they were almost blind to the fact that they loved eachother and everyone knew they did. "Erm Juggie I don't think that's a good idea, besides you're an amazing writer and my work is rubbish and it's not worth reading trust me." She gave him a small smile and he looked at her confused. "What are you on about Y/N, I bet your really good at writing come on you always have awesome ideas for my writing and you have a really good imagination, that's all a writer needs for a great story!" He smiled at her and she smiled back. "Thanks Juggie!" She grinned at him. "Anytime Y/N!" She blushed. "I just need to use the bathroom, I'll be back in a sec." She walked off to the bathroom and he just carried on eating his burger. The thing about Jughead is that he loves food, most of the time you see him either writing his novel or eating, he had a habit of stealing other people's food. He would steal Y/N's food all the time sometimes it annoyed her but other times she just sat back and laughed at him almost drooling at her left overs, she wouldn't let him have it until he really badly wanted it, finally she would give in and hand her plate to him. After about 3 minutes she came back and she was kinda freaking out because she thought Jughead had gone through her work but luckily to her surprise he hadn't. "I'm back sorry if I took long" She said and he looked at her. "Well, you took ages man I was convinced you weren't coming back so I nearly ate all of your food" Jughead teased and chuckled, she laughed. "Oh god how I love my bestfriend..." She blurted out and gave a small smile and he looked down and blushed. "Hey lemme take a sip of your milkshake, mines all gone?" He said reaching out for her glass. She snatched the glass eyeing him down "It's my milkshake" She said stubbornly and Juggie caught onto her sarcastic tone so he pointed out of the window. "Hey look its Archie and the others" He said distracting her and she looked away. He quickly took her milkshake and waited for her to realise. "Hey I don't see the- Woah wait where's my milkshake... Juggie!" She said crossing her arms. "What I don't know where it went?" He smirked and winked at her. "Give me my milkshake back pleaseeeee!" He kept shaking her head so she got up and grabbed her milkshake. "Oh shit its already 2am?" She nodded, "Oh yeah I have to go but I will see you tomoz, we can go to our favourite spot...The twilight drive in!" His smile grew. "Sounds good to me cya later Y/N." She waved bye and with that she walked out of Pops while Juggie was admiring her.
