"C'mon princess, it's time for bed," your daddy told you. You pouted and refused to budge.
"I can read you a story?" Daddy asked. You shake your head.
"What about some milk?" You said no.
You stood up and ran around giggling. Daddy tried to chase you but he couldn't catch up. Eventually, he caught the ruffles on your shorts. Stupid ruffles.
"I got you now!" Daddy laughed as he picked you up and walked to your room. You furrowed your eyebrows and crossed your arms.
"But daddy, I dont want to go to sleep," you mumbled sadly.
"What's wrong babby girl?"
"I want hugs not sleep," you smiled a little and daddy laughed.
"Alright," he sighed. "Come here and I'll brush your hair while we cuddle. How's that?"
You smiled and nodded. You crawled into Daddy's lap as he pulled out the hair ties from your pigtails and started brushing. You loved having your hair brushed. You wiggled slightly in your happy state and cuddle up to daddy on the floor once he was done.
He picked you up in his arms. You rubbed your face on his shirt with a little smile on your face. He placed you in bed and pulled up the covers.
"Goodnight Daddy, I wuv you," you whispered. He smiled.
"I love you too princess."
