Alec's POV
I shove Dawn off me. "Stop!" I yell, standing up. "We broke up a long time ago! Get over it!" She looks hurt, but I know she isn't really. "Come on baby, give me a chance..." She stands and wraps her arms over my shoulders. I shrug them off and back up. "Get the hell out of my house!" I scream. She scowls. "Whatever. I know you want me." She then walks out of my house. I slouch on the wall and sigh. God, I hate her. What time is it? 6:58. Oh jeez. I run outside, and Dawn is out of sight. I get into my car and speed over to her house. When I get there, it's 7:03. Close enough. When I step out of my car, Funneh is out on the porch. "Funneh! Hey!" I wave, and she turns to me, then smiles. "Hi Alec!" She runs down the steps and hugs me. I feel terrible, coming here after Dawn... I try to forget. "So, um... we never really worked out where we're going to go..." I say awkwardly. Funneh laughs a little, then thinks. "How about... we go to... the..." She trails off, trying to think of where we could go. "Well, there's a restaurant near my house that I think you would really like." I say. "Okay. Sure!" She smiles, and I open my car door for her. After she is in and she buckled her seatbelt, I climb into the driver's seat and turn on the car. We drive a while, talking about favorite television shows, the best songs so far this year, and our pet peeves. So far, the date is going well. And we aren't even at the restaurant yet! Well, now we are. I open the door for her again and she steps out, taking my hand. Her dress is stunning. Her whole outfit is blue, her dress, her shoes, her necklace, her eyes, and her hair. I guess I could say blue is my new favorite color.
