Chapter 5 - Missing Friends

We walked away from the pilots grave and spotted Warren sitting on the sand. Emily walked up to him.
"You ok?" She asked.
No reply
"We will get home" She said
"I don't care if we get home!" He shouted "What if Ella is dead? What will I do then?"
"I don't know Warren" She answered quietly
"That's what I thought" He said
Emily stood up.
"If you care whether she's alive so much then why don't you go find out for yourself" Emily exclaimed angrily and walked off.
Emily walked towards us.
"What's going on here?" She asked
"We are trying to figure out what to do about Isla's leg" I said
"We'll have to stitch it otherwise it could get infected" Cora said looking up Emily.
"I have a needle in my suitcase, but I don't have any string" Emily said
"Why do u have needle in your suitcase?" I asked confused
"On my list it said I needed a needle so I packed one" Emily explained "I don't have any thread though and we will have to find my suitcase as well"
"Okay, I can help you find your suitcase" Alfie said.
"I was looking in some suitcases when Maddi found me" Cora said. "I can show you where they are"
Cora lead Alfie and Emily away in the distance and it was me, Isla and warren left.
Emily's P.O.V
"I can show you where they are" Cora said to me
Me and Alfie followed Cora across the sand towards a pile of suit cases. I ran and started to move suitcases around looking for mine.
"It's a blue suitcase with whites dots on" I said still looking for my suitcase.
"I saw some more suitcases further down the beach, I'll go look there" Cora said running off.
A few minutes passed and I heard Cora shouting.
"Is this your suitcases!?" She shouted
I ran towards her to see her holding my suitcase.
"You found it!" I cried in excitement "we need to get it back to Maddi and Isla"
We ran back along the shore carrying the suitcase. I dropped the suitcase on the floor next to Maddi and tore it open.
"It should be on here" I suspending a small compartment and looking inside. "Here it is" I pulled out the needle and handed it to Maddi. "We still need thread don't we?" I said annoyed
"We have thread Emily" Maddi said to me.
"What!? Where!?" I asked
Maddi's P.O.V
I used the needle to cut my shirt, then I pulled one of the threads until it was long enough and cut the end with the needle. I threaded it through the needle and tied the end.
"We are ready now" I said looking at Isla.
