What Happily Ever After?

 I shut the car door and walked up to Gabi's house knocking on the door. A second later a happy Gabi opens the door. Happy until she turns to look at me then her face drops and a hand flies to her mouth. I walk past her and into the living room and drop my bag on the floor. Everyone looks up from the spots they're sitting and there eyes widen in horror. 

"What the hell happened to you Blu?" Gabi asks me.

I take a deep breath, " I pissed off the wrong person."I took another deep breath. "Can we just get me an aspirin and I am in need of a cigarette."

Gabi takes a deep breath and goes to get me aspirin and Brandon plops down on the couch beside me with a wash cloth and a cigarette. I lit the cigarette as Brandon cleans the side of my face. Gabi comes back and hands me the pill and some water I take it and sigh.

"what were you guys doing before all this?" I asked taking a drag of my cigarette, " shit I am so sorry no smoking in the house." I go to get up and Gabi stops me.

"This one time will be fine and we were playing truth or dare."

I got up and put out my cigarette throwing it out the door and sitting back down. "Okay lets play." I slid down to the floor to sit with the others.

"Blu are you sure? I could take you to the hospital-"

"Stop okay I said I was fine so please just stop." I took a deep breath. " let's just play."

After tossing the idea around a little bit in her head she finally decided we could play.

We sat in the circle and that's where the game starts.

"Gabi truth or dare." Brandon asks.

Gabi smiles and says " Dare."

Brandon smiles and laughs "Ooo starting out good now are we?" he pauses " let's see I dare you to-"

"HEYYYYYYYYY" Alex burst through the door cutting Brandon off. " I brought beer." He says holding it out."

Brandon smiles. " Gabi I dare you to drink this."He smiles holding out a beer.

Gabi frowns and scrunches up her nose." you know I hate drinking." Brandon just continues to hold it out. Gabi huffs, takes the beer pops it open and takes a swing. then making a face of disgust before shoving the beer into my hands. I shrugged and took a swing.

Gabi looks at me and says "okay Blu truth or dare?"

Feeling kinda light headed due to earlier events I said " truth"

Gabi looks at me for a second before asking " who did this to you? " she asks putting her hand softly to my face. I closed my eyes and put my hand up against hers for a second before taking it off, and shaking my head. Looking down I said " I plead the fifth."

Alex yells "you drink if you plead the fifth!!" he tossed me another drink told me to finish my first one then drink the other. Which I did. 

"Alex truth or dare?"

he swallows his beer. " truth."

I laugh" Alex picks truth? Okay Alex whose the girl your wanting to get with right now?"

he laughs, " shes in this room." I gasp and look around I see Gabi and Taylor. But those are the only two I see so it has to be one of them. 

"Who!!!!??! ALEXXXX."

he shook his head." she will know by the end of the night but until then I will not say." with that he winks at me the looks away. I think its Gabi.

The rest of the night got blurry. The more I drank the more cigarettes I smoked the more light headed I got. I was laying in Gabi's lap when Brandon asked Gabi truth or dare. she of course said dare. "I dare you to kiss Blu." I froze, and sat up.

I looked at Brandon and then at Gabi. she looked into my eyes and then to my lips and back up. I took a deep breath, and we leaned in. Her lips touched mine and something inside seemed to melt. Her hand made its way into my hair pulling me closer. My lips moved in sync with hers and soon she pulled me onto her lap. I pulled away and let my forehead rest on hers her eyes stared holes into mine, leaving me with so many questions. I stood up and walked outside, the guys whooped and Gabi laughed with them. But when i looked back at her she was looking right at me I gabbed my coat and I stepped outside. I fell to the ground. To calm down I laid on my back and looked up to the night sky. So dark, no stars, I lit a cigarette and took a long drag. I heard the door open and shut again. I just took another long drag of my cigarette. Someone Laid down beside me. Wanting to be alone. I just took a puff of my cigarette. 

"Are you okay Blu?" I looked over to see Brandon. 

I looked back up at the sky. " yeah I'm fine."

"why didn't you tell me?"

I sat up and took a last drag of my cigarette before putting it out and running a shaky hand through my hair. " Tell you what?"

"Come on Blu you know what I mean. That you like Gabi or that you like girls."

I shook my head. " No no NO, liking girls is a sin, in my house it is a sin. My father"

Brandon cut me off " I know all about your father Blu and he does NOT mean a thing that bastard should be locked away."

I looked at him in shock" how do you-"

"your brother"

I nodded and put my head down. He put his arm around me and said " you be you Blu not what your dad wants you to be. Your perfect just the way you are."

We sat in silence for awhile before I said " I don't know how I feel about girls, I just know how I feel about Gabi."

We got up and when we walked inside I see Gabi and Alex on the couch making out. I stopped for a moment. Not sure what I was feeling.  Calmly I grabbed my bag and walked back out. I started my way home. I took the last cigarette out of the pack and I smoked my way home.
