Unseen Heart

PROLOGUE

I was standing outside of the restaurant waiting for him to come. It was five o'clock in the afternoon and the sun will replace with a moon later. I observed the cars and any types of vehicles passing by in my sights. I'll wait for you whatever happens.

I felt the cold wind touch my pale skin and decided to hug myself to lessen the cold weather. Where are you now?

"Ate anghel! Ate anghel! Gusto mo ba bumili ng tinda ko?" The kid asked me to buy his bracelet. It has different design that made me amused. "Meron po akong serendipity bracelet at 'yong iba lucky charm! Ate anghel bilhin mo na para makauwi na ako sa amin. Please?"

I lowered my level and our eyes met each other.

"Magkano ba?" I smiled.

"209 po! "

"Ang mahal naman," I commented. "But I'll buy one," I looked this kid with his brightened smiled that shown on his face. "Are you sure that it will bring charm?"

He slightly nod.

"Give me a precious thing that you have there,"

Then he put something in my right wrist. I scanned as if I observed something and one thing that made me my eyes glued when I saw the silver bracelet with a two hearts inside the ring there was a small written words around it. It was translated into another language.

"Sabi kasi ni Lola bibigay ko po daw sa taong nangangailangan.. Kaya naisip kong ibigay sa inyo. Sana po magdala ng swerte 'yan!" He cheerfully said.

I gave him 1000 pesos that made his eyes widened. I chuckled by his reaction.

"Keep the change,"

"Maraming salamat po!! Sana magiging masaya ka sa love life mo. hehehe!" Then I found myself alone here again outside the restaurant.

"Hey!"

"Hello?" Unsure responds at her.

"It's been a while.. You look gorgeous and you're blooming—" She talked and asked some questions about my life but something caught my attention.

I felt that my world was spinning so fast. I lost my balance and she help me.

"Are you okay?" Worried voiced shown at her.

I looked up her as my eyes shed into tears.

I push her away and ran in the street. I've no longer see the place because of this stupid tears!

Why do I feel betrayed by the past?!

I already loved him and almost give everything..

When we were already happy then news came!

Memories we had slowly faded.

The thick thread turns into thin.
