a wake up from my peaceful dream to my alarm clock blaring right into my ear and Reading 6:30. I slam my hand down onto the snooze button and sigh, work.

I get into the warm shower and take a brief but relaxing shower, making sure I'm able to wash my hair and my body for the day. I get dressed into my uniform and quickly put my hair up into a half up half down hairstyle and grab a granola bar off the table and make my way out of the small apartment making sure to turn off the lights on my way out.

I go down to my mailbox and check if I have anything in there for me, I see a magazine with Zac Efron on the cover and immediately think of my best friend Lauren, whom I will see in about 10 minutes, maybe longer if I don't hurry my butt up and get to work.

I live in New York, and I work at a small coffee shop in the city. At least everyday I get catcalled, and after work I always FaceTime my big sister, maddie to inform her on the days gross men. I open the doors out into the city as the breeze hits against my face, making the magazine in my hands fly out "shit," I mutter under my breath, "no no no no no!" I yell as I chase after the magazine.

A man about my age picks up the magazine "thank you so much, could I please have those back?" I ask politely. "I don't know, can I have your number?" He answers back. I scoff, "Can I call the police" I threaten. He decides to give me the papers back. "My names Johnny Orlando, I'm a well known singer, you don't know me?" He added. "Um, no you don't even look famous, and I have to go to work, goodbye" I retorted.

"Wait!" He yelled after me "I didn't catch your name?" "Mackenzie," I answered "But my friends call me Kenzie." "I will see you around miss kenzie" he piped. "In your dreams, kid." I announced and walked away, leaving him speechless.

Nearly being late for work, I walked as fast as I could trying to squeeze between people as much as possible. I barely made it to work on time and I saw Lauren already behind the counter ready. "What took you so long?" She questioned. "Sorry, got caught up with some weird catcall" I replied. "Ugh men are so annoying," she noted. "Well not all men," I informed and showed her the magazine. "Oh my god he is so hot, I love him so much" she swooned over Zac Efron and I laughed.

"Speaking about boys, my brother is in town, blegh," she grimaced. "Is he cute?" I ask, partially as a joke, but partially not. "Ew don't even ask me that question" she says and we both burst into laughter. "His name is Johnny, you guys can meet tonight maybe, is your place okay?" She asks me. Hmm, I feel like I know a Johnny, oh well. "Sure that's fine!" I answer back.
