To repair with gold
A soul broken and shattered
Like a vase that broke into pieces
No one seems to have remembered
The girl no one recognizes
But everything broken can be mended
Memories we hold,
Melancholy can be ended
We just need to repair it with gold
~We need to understand that we are more beautiful for having been broken because cliché as it may sound, nobody’s perfect. Life is like a vase, there are times when we are broken, but it is upon us to decide whether we stay broken or decide to repair ourselves with gold. In Japan, there is this word that means to repair with gold…
WORD of the DAY:
~KINTSUKUROI: it is the art of repairing pottery with gold, understanding that the piece is more beautiful for having been broken.
We need to understand that we can be more beautiful even if we’ve been broken if only we mend and fix ourselves with something good :D Sana matuto tayong mag-move on even though it’s hard. We also need to look ahead of us, and not dwell in the past. We need to keep moving forward, but I’m not saying that we need to forget the past. I think the best thing to do is to learn from the past and move on to the future. ;3
