~ Day 8 ~

It was, in fact, worse than he had thought it would be. The animals were terrible with holding a conversation, and it was driving the archangel crazy. He had tried to talk to a deer he had found, but the animal was only interested in trying to eat his wings.

Gabriel didn't build a proper shelter yet, although it's not like he needed one. He loved to live in leisure, however. The archangel didn't want to make his own place to sleep, but he decided he had to. And as much as he hated to admit it, his grace wasn't... there. Yeah, he had his wings and all, but without his grace... the archangel shook his head to clear his thoughts.

He sighed and started to explore again, looking for anything that could be of use. From branches, to large leaves to weave together. Yeah, he knew how to weave. Get over it.

~ an hour later ~

Gabriel was still looking for materials to make a shelter with. He would need something to defend himself with, too. Who knew what was lurking in the shadows? For all the archangel knew, there were demons hiding behind every tree, waiting to make their attack. He ran a hand through his hair with another sigh. Why was this so hard? Humans made it look so easy.
