Two wide eyes stared at the girl across the hall.
The third year girl watched the black-haired girl with a wondrous gaze and she never blink at her, not wanting - not even daring to miss a single action of the other girl. She wore glasses, pink frames with average lenses that sat almost majestically on her nose, her adorable, tiny nose that seemed so aesthetically pleasing, beautiful to look at.
The third year girl, a mere blank ironing board compared to her; the one across the hall, didn't know why she stopped moving when she caught sight of the girl in a few classes away from her. She vaguely understood why her breathing stopped after they both met each others gazes and it was like waking up from a dismal dream of black and white.
This stranger was just so beautiful.
This peasant girl; [Lastname] [Name] was almost like nothing compared to the other girl, that's what she believed wholeheartedly. The way the stranger caught her eyes, well, she was done for. Her mind had short-circuited severely, her arms felt like jelly and her eyes had widened tenfold, she knew it. Her insides turned to mush and her heart was beating so loud, she was sure the people walking around her could hear it.
Her face was so warm, her body was heating up and everything in her surroundings sounded like a collective echo in the distance. She could forget where she was, she could forget what she was doing but she wouldn't forget the way that girl looked at her. So.. strange, so neutral and meaningless as they were in fact strangers but it made [Name] realise how desperately and expeditiously she wanted to change that.
Oh, the pain of imagining the two of them being strangers for even a moment longer. It didn't even register as something that could happen when her feet were on the move, she didn't realise that people were even moving around her when she moved so unswerving and without wasting a second to get to her desired location.
She noticed the girl, this overwhelmingly gorgeous girl growing nearer and nearer as the ordinary one shortened the distance between them. The ordinary one couldn't help smiling, smiling so wide that she was forced to bite her bottom lip to suppress the deranged look upon her face and the amazingly stunning girl still hadn't noticed her, it wasn't a surprise though. This girl, the angelic one, probably wouldn't even bat an eye her way.
Despite the thoughts and signs that made her almost turn away, she couldn't and she knew it. She knew that she couldn't be swept away like some foolish speck of nothing in the breeze because she wouldn't look away from love. Or what she really, really thought was love. What was love? It was described so beautifully in the books, shown so pathetically that it made so many people envious of it on television but right now, right here it only looked like love was in the well and true form of this third year girl.
One who was wearing the same uniform as her, one who was the same gender as her and one was that was completely out of her league. She was the one who was currently staring at her with two magical grey eyes that were filled with the stars that she had mercilessly ripped from the night sky but rather than being merciful - all she'd have to do was smile.
"A-aa~"
She turned and looked, [Name] didn't fathom that all of her comprehensible trains of thought would completely disperse like they literally just did.
The other third year looked at her and that's when it happened, okay. Maybe this was love.
"Hello."
The beauty didn't make a sound of confusion, rather, it was inclusion, a sound that made [Name] feel at ease but it didn't matter when she choked on her saliva, the girl standing right in front of her grew worried for a split second before calming a little when she heard her breathe in again after coughing, a twitch of pain crossing her face before recovering smoothly.
"HI! Uh- sorry! My-my name is- uh- my name is... it's YOU KNOW it's-"
oh my god
The girl who looked as if she could be on the cover of a modelling magazine visually flinched twice, her glowing orbs watching the pathetic girl quizzically and she almost smiled - at least the lesser girl hoped it was a smile. She was completely right when she managed to grasp the fact that her brain was nothing but minced meat from the moment her eyes met the pair of grey, glittering marbles.
"Are you alright, [Lastname]-san?"
'[Lastname]-san?'
The bewitching girl watched the way the one before her; [Lastname]-san, began pointing to herself in question, tilting her head quizzically but she didn't say anything.
"[Name]! R-Right, that's uh-that's me! You- wait you know me!? My name?!"
She jumped again and the girl of [H/C]-coloured hair didn't know whether to apologise or continue raving about how this fascinating girl knew her name. The black-haired girl nodded slowly with pink cheeks and the other girl was sure that her own mirrored. She was so elegant-looking, she was really something the bland girl could look at all day and never get tired of. The mole on the left side of her chin was so adorable, how was it that a mole could be so cute?
"Yes.. You're in my year. I've.. seen you around school."
A heavenly voice hesitated only twice but it seemed to make the lovestruck girl's ego increase by a mile, she smiled again, unable to contain herself and giggled shortly in response as her heart seemed to be leaping for joy. The black-haired girl seemed to pay no mind to the strangers odd behaviour and her mouth opened again, bringing attention to her lovely, pink lips.
"I'm Shimizu Kiyoko, it's nice to meet you." Her cheeks turned a beautiful rose colour, complimenting her complexion delightfully and you bowed in response almost immediately, "I'm [Lastname] [Name]! You- you already knew that! I-I'd love t-to be friends with you! I want to be more th-than friends with you! Shimizu-san, please uh, let m-me be your friend!"
The desperate-looking girl almost screeched aloud for the entire student body in the hall to hear, she was oblivious to her surroundings and only looked up, cheeks burning and breath irregular when a stutter came to her ears as she found the girl hiding a smile behind her hand as she looked to the ground bashfully, "O-Okay, [Lastname]-san, I'd... like that."
The eyes of the girl standing at the mercy of the beauty queen glowed.
