This is a canon short story meaning the characters are who they are in the show (ex. Lucifer is still the devil/an archangel and Sam is still a hunter) but the events that take place during this story are fiction but loosely based around certain events that take place during supernatural. This is my first fanfiction, Mpreg and third person POV story I've ever written so please understand if it's not great. This story is most likely going to be four parts. Enjoy!

Dean's classic rock and roll music flows through Sam's ears as the impala speeds down the lonely highway. He gazes out the window watching random trees and fields of grass pass by appearing only as shadows because of the night sky. The moon casts a light glow on the car and the pairs faces as they let the music fill the empty silence of the speeding car.

Sam's thoughts go wandering through the memories of the past few days. They had last seen Lucifer a couple days prior when he had revealed to Sam that he no longer needed him as a vessel sending him a feeling of relief which quickly died once the devil immediately told-more like promised-him that he wasn't done with Sam, whatever that meant. This of course caused Dean to want them to take more cautions while still trying to continue on as normal.

They continued with their regular hunts in random cities but made sure to get Cas to ward their rooms to keep them hidden from any demons or angels (minus Cas of course) and hopefully the devil himself.

"-ammy! Sam! We're here, c'mon!" Dean said breaking his younger brother from his thoughts. The brother's got out of the car before heading towards the motel for the night. They had found a case in the newspaper in the last town they were in and headed to the town to see if they could find out what the causes of the deaths are.

After checking in to the motel the two headed to the room to get settled for with night. Sam pulls his laptop out and begin's to do research on the case while Dean sit's down to listen like he always does. After a couple minutes of research on what creature it could be killing the victims in the town, Dean finally speaks up.

"Ok well I'm going to go take a look at the body and you, are going to start here doing research where it's warded." He says as he pulls the suit jacket over his shoulders to complete the FBI outfit.

"C'mon Dean you can't just keep me away in the motel rooms forever! I need to help solve the case and not just by doing the research." The younger Winchester complains with a frustrated frown on his face.

"I know that Sammy but we can't risk anything with the devil on our trail. Once we figure out what he wants we can continue on like normal ok? I can't risk losing you Sam." Dean states sadly.

"Fine whatever. Just go." Sam says shaking his head angrily.

"Just remember I'm doing this for your own good Sammy. I'll pick up some food on the way back. Call me if you need something and I'll call you if I find something." Dean says before grabbing his last couple of things and placing them in his pocket before closing the door.

Sam continues to work on figuring out what the possible monster could be before sitting back and closing his eyes for a moment rubbing at his temples.

"Hey Sammy." An amused, mocking voice says from behind him causing a chill to run up his spine. Sam closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before turning around in his chair to spot Lucifer lying down on his bed looking at him with a cheeky look in his eyes.

"W-what are you doing here?" Sam says stumbling over his words, trying to act as unaffected by the archangels presence as possible.

"What do you think I'm doing here Sammy? I told you I wasn't done with you and I'm here to prove it." He says chuckling huskily stalking closer towards Sam causing him to stand up in the chair and slowly back away.
