Chapter 20

Hannah

When I get to Jeremy's room the door is slightly open and it's completely dark. I knock as I open the door "Jeremy?" I ask opening the door.

Jeremy is sitting on his bed against the wall and he doesn't say anything, I close the door behind me and walk over and sit next to him "Jeremy?" I ask and he still doesn't look at me.

I sigh "he broke up with me, he said he wants me to be happy and if that means he's just my best friend than so be it" I say not looking at him.

I can hear him draw a shaky breath "I'm sorry" he says looking at me he has tears in his eyes.

I pulled him to me and give him a hug "it's not your fault" I say as he wraps his arms around me. He cries lightly as I rub his back, "it's okay, shhhhh" I say as we sit there.

He let's go of me and stares at me "thank you, even though I may have ruined your life, you still comforted me" I laugh "Jeremy you didn't ruin my life, some relationship aren't meant to last forever" I say

I sigh "and most relationships that are between two people who have been best forever usually don't work out" I say smiling sadly.

He smiles a small smile and I put a hand on his face "are you okay?" I ask rubbing his cheek with my thumb.

I sigh "yeah, and again I'm so sorry" he says sadly. I smile "hey, it's in the past we don't need to worry about it anymore" I say. I can't believe I'm willing to get rid of Zach that easily but to be fair he got rid of me first.

I stare into Jeremy's eyes and smile his eyes were so beautiful. I leaned closer to him and kissed him lightly. He reacted quickly and pulled me to him, he sat me down on his lap and kissed me harshly.

When Jeremy had first kissed me I had felt a spark like never before, it was bigger than when Zach kissed me. I was confused by it and I stayed with Zach not knowing what else I could really do.

Now I know that if I were meant to be with Zach I'd be with him right now instead of with Jeremy. Now that I think of it I haven't seen Damien since we got here, after we're done here I should go check on him.

I was with Jeremy for about half an hour before I told him I was going to check on Damien. I walked down the hall past three or four doors before I came to Damien's room.

I knock lightly and when he doesn't answer I just walk in, Damien is lying on his bed with headphones on and his eyes are closed.

I sit next to him and put a hand on his knee, he jumps and takes off his head phones "Hannah?"
