A Definite Story 2

We entered the vacation room and I couldn't have felt more relaxed in my life. No little cousins running around in chaos. I knew it was my responsibility to take care of this house like it was mine.

"Whoa, nice place. So this is your vacay house. You guys have awesome vacay houses." Greyson complimented.

"But you haven't seen mine." Kade said. Greyson laughed.

"I know but I've seen picture ass nugget." Greyson teased.

After a short tour of my vaycay house with Greyson, I turned on the speakers around the house on full blast. We danced around and unpacked. I took the 2nd biggest guestroom saving the biggest guestroom for my parents. It looked like it did before every time I showed up. Barren and neat then I got to working. I changed the music and put on some dancing music and danced around then Kade began to join me like he usually does. I made sure not to get to close for some reason there was that wall there now that in the back of my head I knew he was in a relationship.

"LOSERS!" I heard Greyson yell. He was leaned against the door with his arms crossed, smiling. It almost felt like a movie to me. A teenager of age finally in a house on their own. I smiled thinking this guy isnt gonna be cooler than us. Because we are all fucking losers when Justin Bieber's "Baby" comes on. I grabbed his arm and dragged him to the middle of my room and started to make him dance. He was rolling his eyes and laughing.

"I'm not gonna dance!" He yelled over the music. I just kept going because he was going to break at some point. He started laughing harder as I started waving his hands in different ways and everywhere. Then, he finally started dancing. I looked around for kade. I didnt see him anywhere in my room. I went to different rooms and then I went downstairs. Greyson followed when he saw me go downstairs. We both spotted him outside on the phone. We went to instigate.

'Who is that?' I mouthed. He turned the opposite way and continued talking in a more hushed tone. I almost felt offended by this gesture. I looked at Greyson with a confused/disappointed look. He just shrugged his shoulders, I couldn't understand this mistreatment or i must be feeling sensitive to whatever is going on right now. I couldn't be jealous, I told myself, if anything I did this to myself. Kade went years not knowing I was in love with him. How was he suppose to know to wait for me. Then, before I could finish another thought I saw him turn around.

"Hey, I'm sorry I shouldn't have interrupted you in the middle of your call. I was just wondering..." I trailed off because I didn't know if he was even listening to me.

"It's fine." he said but I could see the frustration in his eyes. I mean anyone could see the frustration in him. "It's my girlfriend she is upset that I stayed she wants me back."

"Oh I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you to stay."  I apologized. He shook his head.

"I wanted to spend sometime with you guys before heading back so I couldn't blame anyone except myself for all this. She's a little jealous because you and I have so much history." He explained. Now there was the Kade I knew, the guy that could talk to me and not hide things from me and giving excuses constantly.

I felt bad that obviously it was still partially my fault. I had them go to Kade's vacay house to see his girlfriend while I sat at this house alone. I turned off the music and I wondered how my summer had turned 360 because of a small change. Obviously it wasn't a small change anyways since it was a game changer of my summer. They had left the house and I was left alone with my thoughts. I couldn't keep thinking negative like this, because at this rate I won't be able to have the amazing summer I've been waiting all school year long for.

I needed to relax. I went out to the balcony that faced the ocean. The wind in my face was soothing, the sound of seagulls passing by for the evening. The sunset was just over the horizon and for something odd I caught myself thinking of... Greyson.
