Chapter 5

                            (Your Pov)
      *Time Skip To The End Of The School Year*

           Its Graduation Day and Alexis looks absolutely beautiful in her outfit and in her cap and gown. I had everything planned out, the flowers, the music, just everything. I hope it works out right.

           I watched her walk down the stage and get her diploma, i clapped and cheered her on. 'My baby is graduating High School,Wait she's not my baby yet.' I chuckled to myself. Soon enough it was my turn. I walked up on that stage, walked across, gave my speech, grabbed my diploma. But wait i have to give out my other speech. "Um before i walked off this stage i have something to say, Alexis Brown can you come up on this stage please." She walked up on the stage. I Looked at her while still speaking into the mic, "Alexis Brown we've known each other for some time now, and you live next to me. We had our ups and downs but we kept our friendship strong. I've liked you for a while now and i didn't realize that i liked you because i was straight. Seeing you walk down this stage and getting your diploma made me realize that you are one successful young lady that i want to spend the rest of my life with. You make me feel a way that no one ever made me feel." I wiped a tear away from her face and her favorite song started playing. "I love you Alexis and i was wondering will you be my girlfriend and in the future my wife and mother to my kids?"  By now she's in tears "Yes!" she says "Yes i will be your girlfriend" She hugs me and i give her the flowers while wiping the tears from her face. We walk off the stage and for some reason people were cheering and whistling and clapping us on. We just smiled as i took her hand into mine and walked to were the food was. I Make her a plate and gave it to her. "What college are you thinking about going to?" I ask her as i sat down. "I'm not sure yet. But i wanna be a teacher." She took a bite of food. I just nodded, "That suits you babe." She just giggled and ate. I smiled.

           At my house we sat in the living room watching movies and eating snacks. "Ya know what (y/n) i want this for the rest of my life. Just being with you and watching movies while eating food. And coming home from work, whenever i get a job. I just want this, everything with you." She looked at me with a smile on her face. I blushed, "You will baby. I promise." Soon she went upstairs and took a shower while i cleaned up downstairs. I walked upstairs when i was done and went into my room and got into my pjs, Soon she came out and laid on the bed and yawned. "I love you (y/n)" "I love you too babe." I said as i laid down next to her and pulled her close to me, soon we both drifted off to sleep. 'thank gosh school is over with and thank the lord she's mine now' was all that was on my mind while i slept.

                Morning came and i woke up to see Alexis was gone. 'I wonder where she could be.' I got up and did my morning routine and went downstairs into the kitchen and seen Alexis making breakfast. I chuckled and sat at the island and watched her. "I could get used to seeing this everyday of my life" She jumped at the sound of my voice and i laughed. "Scared ya?" She just nodded her head and giggled. She handed me a plate and sat across from me and started eating her food. I ate mine and we sat in silence. I don't know why it's always like this.

         After we got done eating got dressed and left. 'I wonder where she could be going. I wonder what's wrong with her.' I sighed and cleaned up the house. 'Maybe i should text my mom'
*Phone Convo*
Me: Hey mom
Mom: Hey baby girl. Sorry i missed your graduation and i'm sorry that i haven't seen you in a while. Tomorrow is my day off maybe we could spend sometime together.
Me: It's okay. Yeah i'll like that. Plus i have something to tell you.
Mom: Okay sweetie. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you.
Me: I love you too.

I sighed and i could feel some tears coming. I Texted Alexis to see where she went

Me: Hey babe where did you go to?
Her: Im So Sorry Baby I Had A Job Interview.
Me: It's okay beautiful. What job?
Her: Up At A Daycare.
Me: I hope you get the job. Also my mom wants to spend time with me tomorrow since it's her day off, is that okay?
Her: Yeah That's Fine Babe. I'll Let You Know If I Get The Job. I Love You.
Me: I love you too babe. Good luck.
Her: Thank You Babe.
Me: You're welcome love

I sighed and went upstairs into my room and laid down. Maybe i should take a nap. I drifted off to sleep.

            Alexis came home screaming her head up and running up the stairs. I jumped up to the sound of her screaming "What happened?!" She ran into the room jumping up and down "I got the job! I got the job!" I smiled hard and ran up to her and hugged her tight. "I'm so proud of you baby. We should celebrate." I Kisses her forehead, she giggled "where babe?" "I wanna take you out to dinner so get ready." she nodded her head and got dressed up all nice and did her hair and makeup. I got dressed nice and took her hand and walked to the car.

           At dinner we were talking about the job and her schedule. After the dinner i took her home and we laid down and drifted off to sleep. It was sorta hard for me since i had a lot of things on my mind.
