The asylum

Just waiting for them to finally barge through the door to take me to therapy, though it might be my last...

I walked home from school with my friends. Our group went their separate ways for the night, leaving Annie and I to walk down our road. We got farther down the road until I heard yelling from around the corner, I looked to see what it was. A tall man with a blade started threatening a lady, 'I want to be a hero...' I thought as I reached to grab the mans blade to take it away. The man immediately turned around as I grabbed the knife. He turns towards me trying to get the blade back, and it all went black. All of the sudden the blood was spilled. I was sitting on top of him, stabbing him repeatedly over and over again non stop. He died when I slashed his throat. Annie was long gone then and the lady  was crouched in the back corner of the alley, with her flip phone opened and lit across the screen read 'Call Ended' and I supposed it was 9-1-1 because before I knew it, I was shoved into the back of a police car. I overheard them saying things like "This kid is crazy... Mental most likely" . And before I knew, it hours later, I was being checked into an asylum and put on lock down. I got really confused as to why I was going to this asylum, 'I saved someone.. didn't I?' I thought to myself.
All of the sudden a tall, strong looking man came and took a hurtful grasp on my shoulder and brought me to an unpleasant looking medical room. And what happened in this room was not pretty, You would've wished you were eaten alive instead of this so called 'Treatment'. These liquids they inject make your limbs feel like they are burning from the inside, out. It was painful.. I just wanted to die.. until later that day.. back in my room in the asylum, I was able to kill myself by using a sharp, broken piece of glass from the milk bottle of a lunch tray. I just couldn't take that pain again, it was unbearable! Even though it was only once, it was the most excruciating pain I've ever faced.. I never wanted to go through it again...

You must be wondering how I am writing this.
It's amazing what ghosts can do these days.

Sincerely,
Adeline
