Unknown POV
That was close.
I wonder if Rebecca saw me.
"Genesis, can you come here for a moment?" I heard a voice call me from upstairs of my apartment.
"Yes, what is it, Your Highness?" I asked while bowing my head down a bit.
"Have you seen them lately?" She asked me.
I nodded and told her that I saw those 3 at the mall.
She sighed sadly and dismissed me. I feel bad for Her Highness. Both of her sons have died, and now she is looking for her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. She does have a lot stress.
"Genesis?"
"Yes?" I asked looking up at her.
"We are going to the ball."
Blake's POV
"Blake, where are we going?" Bethany asked as I pushed her into her room.
"We are going on that date right now. Go change." I said in a sassy voice.
"Ok ok, jeez." Bethany said chuckling.
After she finished changing, she walked out in a light blue lace dress with some black shoes with heels - whatever you call them - with light makeup.
"Is it fine for the occasion?" Bethany asked looking down at her dress.
"Yup. You look beautiful. Just saying it's cold." I said with a grin.
"One second lemme get my jacket." Before she could enter her room I caught her hand and shaked my head.
"If you are cold then you are gonna take my jacket." I said firmly as she raised and eyebrow.
"Why?" Bethany asked looking cute with her confused expression.
"Isn't that what guys are supposed to do on dates?" I asked her unsurely.
She laughed while I pouted.
"Don't laugh. This my first date too."
"You're so cute when you pout." She said, patting my cheek.
I took her hand and lead her outside.
We started walking for a few minutes. That 'walking for a few minutes' turned into 30 minutes.
"Are we there yet?" Bethany asked, whispering.
"Almost. Why are we whispering?" I asked her also whispering.
She shrugged before a cute smile appeared on her face.
Bethany's POV
I never thought that it would happen like this.
In romance books, the girl and the boy click at an instant and before you know it they fall in love.
Me and Blaks don't love each other.
We might one day, but right now it's just a crush.
A really big crush.
Blake suddenly stopped walking and pointed infront of him.
I looked staright ahead and saw 2 white swans swimming in a lake.
It was night time so the lights looked pretty while facing the swans.
"It's amazing!" I squealed.
I hugged Blake tightly around his neck.
It took him by suprise but soon hugged me back.
"I found this place while I was thinking about what to do on the date. Then I saw this." He said, smiling at me.
"Oh! One more thing." He put his hand bdhind his back then took out a cone icecream.
"Ice cream!" I screamed as he chuckled, handing me the ice cream.
"There is also dinner." Blake said sitting on a blanket with a basket.
"Isn't desert after dinner?" I asked with a confused look.
"But Baskin Robins always say desert first."
He patted a spot beside him, gesturing me to sit.
I sat down and leaned on his shoulder watching the stars.
The date might have been short but...
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Blake said looking down at me.
I opened my mouth, but he beat me to it.
"If you say no, I will kidnap you." He said with a teasing look.
I laugh and kissed him.
Best.
Date.
Ever.
