Shawn and I went to the laundry room to wash our clothes. When we arrived to the laundry we picked a washing machine and we threw all are clothes in a basket. I did the laundry while Shawn just stared and studied my every move.

"Do you know how to do the laundry?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Yes!" He answers really confident and I just smirk at him, waiting for his confession. "Well with help sometimes. I just get confused sometimes with the whole separating white and dark colors." I laugh at his answer and finished throwing our clothes in the washing machine. Giving him a small explanation towards which color goes where. It would take the clothes around 20 minutes to be ready so we sat down.

"So.." I said trying to break the silence

"So tell me about yourself, Ems" He says with a smile that makes me smile, what can I say he has a contagious smile.

"Well what can I say? I'm 21 years old. Ummm I was born on May 28, in Mexico but raised here in New York. I have 3 brothers, the older one is 24 and lives here in New York and my younger brother who is 16, lives with my parents. I have a great job, in my opinion, I'm studying college in NYU, and I live with my friend Jen near the campus. Fuck Jennifer!" I hiss remembering about her, I have no idea what happened to her last night. She never came to tell me if she was leaving with the guy and I never did, as well. She probably is at college right now. Fuck College! I look for a clock and find one behind Shawn, and I realize I have class in 15 minutes. I'll never get in time, maybe I'll arrive to my third class. Which is in an hour and a half. Although that would mean no breakfast with Mr Famous guy.

"What about her?" Shawn asks bringing me back from my astral journey.

"I just remembered about her, she's the friend I went to the club yesterday. She never went to tell me if she was leaving and we never leave until we tell each other if we're going, with who, where, and I don't remember telling her I was leaving with you. So for all I know she could be in that bar still waiting for me. I need to call her, see if she's all right." I say going for my back pocket and that's when I realize I have no pants, no pants mean no pocket, no pocket means no phone. "Where's my phone?" I ask Shawn, hoping I left it somewhere in his place.

"I think I saw it on the kitchen counter with some earrings and rings of yours." With that, I feel air coming to my lungs again.

"Oh God! I'll go get it, I'll be right back." I say standing up, but before I can give a step he grabs my wrist stopping me.

"Please you can use mine." He says handing me his phone.

"Are you sure?" I ask grabbing his phone. Isn't he scared that some stranger is gonna have his phone number.

"Yeah, here!" He says taking the phone back and giving it to me unlocked and already in the keypad dial.

"Thanks! I'll be quick! I promise." I say touching numbers and then make the call I start walking around the laundry room, which is small, but since we're the only ones here, I have space to move. I wait impatiently for Jen to pick up the phone and walk faster. I can see Shawn following me with his gaze. When I'm about to give up and hand the phone to Shawn I hear Jen's voice through the speaker.

"Hello?" Jen answers with a groggy voice, letting me know she just woke up, and is no where near college.

"Hey Jen! It's me Emma! Please tell me you got home safe. I'm really sorry, I have no idea of what happened last night. I just don't remember you telling me if you were going home and I don't remember me telling you that either." I explain walking faster from side to side.

"Emma! Hey!" She greets me with a joyful tone, but I know she's using it sarcastically. "You know, it's really funny. How you don't remember a thing but I do!" She says with a sarcastic laugh.
