"...our brother, Ariel!"

"No child, I was counting on you!" Sebastian sighed.

The little merman was missing...again. Not a surprise, as he was always swimming off. But Sebastian had hoped that even though he didn't show for rehersals, he would at least show for "Children of Triton." It had been written for his vocal skill, anyhow.

But alas it was his cue and Ariel was nowhere to be found. And now...

"ARIEL!!!" King Triton was obviously angry. "Where is that boy?!"

"Ooh, Flounder look at this!" Ariel held up a mangled looking object. "Isn't it cool?"

"It looks broken..." Flounder said doubtfully. Ariel considered this and nodded, dropping it.

"Let's go in there," He suggested, pointing at a shipwreck, and swimming toward it.

"I-I dunno...."

"Don't be such a guppy, Flounder."

"I'm not! I-I just don't think it looks safe."

"Then you stay here and keep watch for sharks." Ariel smirked, and with that, the slender merman disappeared through a porthole.

"Got it." Flounder grinned. "You go and I'll keep watch for sh....wait....sharks...? ARIEL!!" He popped through the porthole with some difficulty, next to a giggling Ariel.

"You are a guppy." He grinned, and picked up a shiny object. "Wow!"

Flounder looked around uneasily. "I don't think we should be here..."

"Nonsense." Ariel murmured as he picked up a small curved object and slipped it into his bag.

He didn't notice the shark outside. Flounder however did. And as a result, he began stuttering. "Sh....sh.....sh....sh-sh-shark!!!"

Ariel whipped around and went wide eyed. He grabbed Flounder and they swam off as the shark crashed after them.

Once they got rid of him, Ariel started toward the surface.

"Ariel where are you going?"

"To see if Scuttle knows what these are!"
