Monday 6/28/15

"A week has passed already since the cave accident. I have discovered something extraordinary. Something that science can't explain." I smile, looking into the camera.

I fix it on it's stand and smile, seeing that it's recording.

"Hey, Leon, what was it you screamed when we left your ass in the cave?"
Simon chuckled and smirked.

"I know what I saw." I give a low brow glare over to him and he backs away.

"Okay, so this is the Telekanesis test." I turn the camera over to frame Brandon and Simon.

"Are you sure we are ready for this?" Brandon is nervous. His body language says it all and I can't blame him.

The reason why we know about the Telekanesis is because of an other accident.

(The Camera scene changes to a private video scene from a local security camera)

I was walking home from school when David Jonson, the biggest jerk in highschool followed me in his truck. I was walking on the side of the road and he comes speeding up behind me.

I turned around and yelled, raising my hands, a natural reflex to try and protect myself. His truck's hood flew up and the headlights shattered, smoke began to come from the engine.

I look forward at him through his cracked windshield and I then look around, running off and out of frame.

(Back to now)

I nod with the camera, zooming out slightly more to show the table and the three glass cups that each have water.

"I am pretty sure we are ready." I look at Brandon's nervous reaction and ignore it. "Alrighty, let's go. You have to lift the cup off of the table for at least three seconds. Each of us will try it. Whoever successfully picks one up, will have 20 bucks."

"Hell yeah, I need the money!" Simon steps in front of the table and looks down at the cup, trying to move it telepathically.

The cup begins to shake and the water inside it ripples and splashes.
I then zoom in and slowly zoom out.

The cup splashes the water in his face and he falls back, laughing hard at hiself.

(We all laugh and the camera cuts, having Brandon stand at the table)

"Alright, Brandon, you got this." I say, trying to give him some courage.

He looks down at the cup, taking in a deep breath before leaning down and looking hard at it. The glass cup begins to shake and vibrate, slowly rising off of the table. I zoomed in and gasped, yelling in excitement. After zooming out, the cup shatters as soon as it was elevated, meaning Brandon almost got there.

Brandon smiles with sadisfaction, crossing his arms.

I walk over to the table and set the camera down, positioning it on the cups. I nod at Brandon and Simon, raising my hands to the only two glasses left.

They soon begin to vibrate, the camera as well as everything on the table. The water in the cup began to drip into the air in small streamers and up goes the cups. The water swirled slowly around the two cups like thin snakes.

The camera is recording still and I smile, thanking myself in my head. As beautiful as the water was, a sharp pain shot through my head and my nose began to bleed.

I drop the cups and the water falls.

"Dude your face is bleeding, haha!" Simon laughed and smiled.

"That's enough powers for today. I hand Brandon the 20$ and smile sheepishly at Simon.

"You know what! No.
I actually think it's time we take this of the house. See what we're really capable of. What's the harm in a little fun? Simon smirked and nodded. "You know I'm right, Leon.

Simon grabs Brandon's arm and pulls him out the front door. "C'mon, Leon, we need you."

I grab the camera and smile, shaking my head slowly. "what will we ever do without Simon?" I mumble.

I aim the camera at my feet as I walk to Brandon's truck, stepping in and raising it to the rear view mirror.

"Where are we going anyway?" I ask a little worried.

I slowly zoom in on the rear view mirror, seeing Brandon's nervous eyes as he drives us as well.

As I zoom out slowy, I shift over to Simon who looks back at the camera.
"We're going to go to the lake. He looks at me, only his neck in the frame." If you can do stuff with water, then maybe there's  more to it than water streamers." He smiled again and faced forward.

"You're saying, you still wanna practice?"
I face the camera to the road through the front window. "The Mountain Lakes" in bold.

We then drive the old dirt road that says KEEP OUT also in bold. The sun is setting, the day Sky turning orange and purple.

"I think it's gonna get late, we shouldn't have come."
Brandon says, stoping in the middle of the deserted road.

"Nah, c'mon, you stopped just in time!" Simon opens the door and steps out, fixing his shirt and walks the stone path that vallies through the grass.

"C'mon Brandon, we can't leave him alone out there."
I stepped out and follow Simon through the thick grass and turn around again, Brandon not far behind.

(Camera cuts)

"I know Simon can be a handful, but that's how he is." I say as we arrive at the shore of the large lake. The water was as clear as glass and the scenery was perfect for a type of get away. I have high hopes for this private place.
I shift my eyes farther off and see a waterfall. That's the place must have. I smirk and shift over to Brandon who is sitting on a rock.
"What's wrong?"
I sit next to him and rub his back slowly. My attempt to comfort him making me feel awkward.

"I just feel... I... W-What if one of us takes our abilities too far?"
He looks at me with fear. He looks at me as if I am the one who will take it too far.

"I don't know what to say, Brandon. If one of us goes too far, we have only each other to prevent it from happening."
I take in an uneasy breath and smile painfully, for I know our discoveries are only beginning.
