“What are you doing here,” I ask Jeff who is wearing as baseball cap to cover his bed hair.

“Aw, don't look so happy to see me, I might blush.”

I take a step back and he takes a step forward.

He chuckles, “don't be so afraid, I'm not going to hurt you. At least, not at this moment for that matter.” I take two more steps back to try to make a run for it, but Jeff moves quickly to grab my arm in his strong hand. “Where are you going?” He says sadly, “I invited you here and you are going to leave already. How mean.” I turn my head and stare into his black, icy eyes. He's Sweet Tooth?

“You were the one...” I started out slowly. “You emailed me?”

A grin spreads across his face, “Bien suv, chaton,” he says in a soft tone. I didn't even know what he said nor does that answer my question.

“Were you?” I ask again, but my voice wasn't as strict as I want it.

“I don't know, if you can't speak French then I guess you'll never know your answer.”

I hate it.

He's playing with my mind.

“Let go of me...”

“And let you miss the show?” He pulls me closer to him where my body is pressed to his. The smell of death covers his clothes. “Why don't you enjoy the show with me and maybe I can give you the answers that you want,” he says with a laugh. “That is why you're here, right?”

My eyes widen even though he couldn't see me.

He is Sweet Tooth.

Without resisting him, he removes his grip on my arm and holds my hand instead. I couldn't do anything that will go against him because I did come here for answers and he doesn't seem like he's going to hurt me here. Though, I must make sure that my guard isn't down or he could kill me easily.

We both stop at the end of the bleachers where everyone on the side has their eyes glued to the football field. I look over and see that the teams are about to start playing. I don't get it, what is it he wants me to see? Does he really expect me to have a good time with him by watching the football game?

“Three,” Jeff sing – songs.

I look up at him and then my eyes wander back to the field. Every player is in position. A man yells aloud but I could make out any of the words.

“Two.”

I look at the people in the stand who starts to cheer as their eyes are still glued to the field. You can hear cries from a baby and laughs from children. Still looking around, I couldn't figure out what he is counting down to.
