One day Ezekiel woke up as usual well for him. Ezekiel isn't like normal boys. He looks in the mirror and sees a 15 year old boy who can't do anything good to please his "friends" or even his parents. He knows that he is a good for nothing his dad even told that before his parents got a divorce. Ezekiel was only 7 when his parents got a divorce and his dad's last words he told him before they got divorced was" Ezekiel, im sorry to say this but it's true. You are good for nothing all this is your fault. Your mom was happy without you, no we were happy without you i don't know why we had you but it was the worst choice I have ever made." Then his dad left. Ezekiel never saw him again but those words were in his head ever since and he knew it was true.
His mom has been different ever since that day. She might say "I love you Ezekiel you mean everything to me" like once a week but he knows it's a lie. All her mother ever does is sign up on dating sites to find "the perfect guy" and when she finds one person she thinks is pretty she doesn't come back till the next day. Ezekiel doesn't know what happens over the night we her mom but he has an idea. But ya he goes downstairs and sees something new , something different from her mom. She is in the living room crying and he goes to her and..... And her mother hugs him. He hasn't been hugged in so long that he actually feels her mother's sorrow even though he doesn't know what it is. His mother saids that she is pregnant and will have another child. Ezekiel is happy to have a baby brother but he is also sad because he doesn't his brother to live like this. But her mother has other thoughts she doesn't want it and she doesn't want to tell Ezekiel that. So she saids " are you ready for school" Ezekiel saids " umm ya I'm happy that you will have a child and I'll be a brother again...." Her mother stops her there and saids "have fun at school I'll I'll miss you my son and one last thing. I'm sorry I never gave you the attention you need and I hope you can forgive give me and give me a second chance as a mother. Something easy we can all do but just act stupid and don't act our age as we should." Ezekiel saids" Mom... I... I love you and I'll give you as many chances as you need to be the best mother like you were until the devore and my little brother's death...." They both hugged and loved each once more like before but Ezekiel still believes what he is that he is worth noting...... He like that his mother loves him again and that there are like a family once more just a mother and her son. Ezekiel goes to the bus happy, sad , and confused.......
