Somewhat Highschool Love { pt. 1 }

- Bad Era

It's your first day of Junior year. You wake up because you heard your mom yelling your name and telling you endlessly to wake up before you're late.

You finished showering and put on some hightop red vans with some light blue ripped jeans and a black crop top. For your hair, you did effortless curls and it looked good.

You went downstairs to check on your dad making some coffee. "Good Morning sweetie!" He says with a smile on his face.

"Morning dad." You say while you sit down to eat an apple.

Your mom comes down to see you eating with your bag to your side. She glances at you for a long time.

"Well...?"

"Y/N HONEY YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE IT'S ALREADY 7:45!! Come on go get in your car!!" She throws you your car keys and you run out the door with a little bit of coffee your dad made you.

- 10 minutes later -

You arrive to school and check the time. Great it's 7:55, still got 10 minutes right?

You look for your best friend Aaliyah. You walk around the halls then finally when you reach the lockers, you see her standing there with some guy.

"Y/N!! Girl get over here!!" She yells as you walk over there and give her a hug.

"And who is this I may ask?" You question.

"Well this is my friend, his name is Daniel."

"Ooouuu girl your outfit slaying!" Daniel compliments you.

"Why thank you Daniel, we'll become friends real quick." You all chuckle. You then see another guy come up next to Aaliyah.

"And Aaliyah who's this?" The guy with sunglasses asks as he puts his hand on Aaliyah's shoulder.

"Why Michael this is Y/N, Y/N this is Michael."

You were completely amazed by how beautiful his eyes were, and how beautiful he was, but then you snapped back to reality and gave him a smile. He smiled back, god that smile could light up this whole town, wait who are you kidding, the whole damn universe!

"Nice to meet you Y/N"He says.

"Nice to meet you too, Michael."

The bell rings and then you all find out you have classes together, except Math, only you and Michael had that together. The first period you four had together was english, ugh.

{ In english class}

You sat next to Aaliyah and Michael sat in front of you, while Daniel sat next to the left side of Aaliyah. You guys were all the way in the back.

"Good morning fellow students, some of you may remember me last year as Ms.Luis, but now I go as Mrs.Rogers."

"Woot woot you're married!!" Daniel sarcastically says.

The whole class let out a chuckle.

"Mr.Spanosa, please it's the first day." The teacher says.

"Okayyy Mrs.Rogers." He said while rolling his eyes.

- 45 minutes later -

Now you're walking to math, the only class you didn't have with Daniel or Aaliyah, but only Michael.

You walked into the class and sat at a seat near the window. You placed down your math textbooks in a organized way. You then saw Michael come through the door.

"Oh hey Y/N!" He beams and flashes a smile at you. Oh that smile had you melting every time.

"Hey Michael!" You waved.

"Do you mind if I sit next to you..?" He asked softly.

"Sure why not." You replied.

He sat next to you, the teacher walked in and explained that if you are having trouble in math, you and the person sitting next to you could go to the private room next door.

Next thing you know, you weren't understanding any of this nonsense & numbers in front of you & Michael saw that. You really weren't understanding anything.

Michael then tapped your shoulder. "Y/N, you need some help?"

"I thought you'd never ask." You let out a sigh, Michael then raised his hand.

"Mr.Flores?" Michael asked, "Y/N is having some difficulties, may I help her in the room next door?"

"Sure, Mr.Jackson, be back in half an hour." He responded.

You and Michael quickly got up and went into the room. Michael opened the door for you and you thanked him, you two sat down at a table and started working on the work.

He showed you what to do and only repeated it two times. You then made about 3 mistakes until you finally got it right.

"Yesss I finally got it right!" You rejoiced.

Michael laughed. You glared at him. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, you just look cute when you laugh, Y/N." he

"Why thank you, Michael." You smiled back.

"Well i know we just met, but wanna hangout sometime?"

"Sure! But where tho?" You questioned.

"How about your place?" He asked softly.

"Sure!"

"Today after school?" He asked.

"Yeah, my parents won't mind."
