bowling

after the long car ride of awkwardness, and by awkwardness I mean Lauren and Hayden in the backseat eying each other and Johnny and I looking at each other with deep concern about them, we finally make it to the bowling alley.

As soon as we arrive at the alley we reserve a spot at the candlepins and decide to do teams. The teams are Lauren and Hayden (obviously) and Johnny and I.

After 3 rounds of Rock Paper Scissors, Lauren and Hayden win and get to go first. Hayden let's Lauren go first and she only knocks down three pins, and on her second try she knocks down two more.

Next it's Johnny and I's turn, and with my luck I get to go first. I step up and take the 2 pound bowling ball, because I could barely lift the other ones, and roll it down and it goes into the gutter.

I get one more try and with this time with more force, and I get a strike. At this point I'm beaming with happiness and I start jumping up and down and run over and hug Johnny without even thinking.

"Oh um, sorry about that I just get a little bit excited," I admitted. "It's uh- okay," Johnny says.

At the end of the whole round the score was 192 to 207, which meant Johnny and I had won.

We decide to go to McDonalds right next door and get some food. I just get a cheeseburger with fries and a soda and I manage to eat it all because I was extremely hungry.

At McDonald's Johnny and I sit across from each other and we gag anytime Lauren and Hayden do something or anything cute or all relationship-y.

After we finish eating, we decide to head back home. I get the aux yet again and play some good music.

While I play music I like to skip from song to song, which all my friends say is annoying but I do it anyway, and while I'm switching throughout the music Johnny continues to sing the song and I get to hear how good of a singer he actually is.

"That was really good," I exclaim, still surprised. "Thanks I guess," he says sheepishly, and the rest of the car ride is silence besides Hayden and Lauren flirting in the back seat.
