Chapter 12

Recap: "If you want to cut yourself, than you're going to take my arm, look me in the eyes, and cut as many times as you would yourself" he says sternly and handing me back my blade

I shake my head "I couldn't hurt you like that" and then I understood everything.

"Tell me what's on your mind" he says grabbing a towel and wrapping it around my cuts

"I-I..." I stumble on my words then clear my throat "I am like....a balloon an you....you are like the helium, you keep me up, you keep me alive. You keep me above ground, just like helium does to a balloon....b-but once the balloon runs out of helium....it's slowly dies..." I pause looking down "Just like what's happening to me when your gone"

He then sits next to me and wraps his arms around my waist whispering sweet things into my ear

"Ryder look at me" he whispers as I look up at him. "I'm here. I love you. I don't care if you need to stay up crying all nigh long. I will stay with you. There's nothing you can ever do to lose my love." He whispers holding me close until I drift off to sleep.

Ryder's Pov.

Silence.

That's all I hear.... just silence

I flutter my eyes open and quickly shut them.

Groaning I blink a couple times

I roll out of bed and close the curtains someone open then I remember

"Shit" I mumble

"Well goodmorning" someone says from behind me

I jump and spin around "Jc you scared me" I say holding my hand to my chest

He chuckles and comes up to me picking me up and places me on my bed "Sorry but I didn't send you to school"

My eyes go wide and I quickly grab my phone and see dry blood on the screen. Ignoring that and checking the day was Thursday.

"Why didn't you" I say throwing my phone farther on my bed

"You don't remember do you" he whispers

I shake my head and look down looking at a bloody towel I start freaking out

"Jc what the hell happened" I start raising my voice "What the hell did you do"

"I saved you life Ryder!" he raised his voice surprising me "Ryder you really don't remember" he whispers

I shake my head once again "Please tell me Jc" I whispers as well

"Ryder you tried committing suicide...."he pauses as I open my mouth no words coming out as I was stuck

"You cut you arms four times over your faded scares. You kind of fell asleep and passed out. I stayed with you just to make sure you were gonna be okay" he explains looking down

Like of tons of bricks it fell down on me...the conversation we had, the kisses, the drinking, Harry, the fight, the way we spilled out everything to each other, the screams, the blade, the words, the crying.......the blood

I quickly run up to him and hug him as he immediately hugs back wrapping his arms around my waist tightly

"I remember" I whispers crying all over again

He let's out a breath and I hug him tighter afraid to let him go

I pull away after awhile and whip my tears. Looking down I lead him to my bed sitting down as he sits next to me
