Penelope's Revenge

Prologue

 It was a cold winter in 1994. A girl and her parents were walking to their home when all of sudden they heard a small thump yet they didn't mind. Then they heard it again but this time it was very loud causing them to turn around. Penelope felt her fathers hand leave hers. When she turned around she and her mother just saw a boot fall from the sky. They were so scared that they ran so fast, but they weren't fast enough for the creature that was following them. Even though Penelope felt her mothers hand leave hers, she was so scared that she kept running. It wasn't until she stopped because she felt she was safer and wanted to catch her breath that she noticed that her mother was missing. She looked everywhere for her until she saw the creature suck the life out of her mother. It was that moment, that horrible moment, that she realized that vampires were real. She wanted to cry hysterically and just shout and scream, but at the same time she was very angry and just as if she were talking to her parents she had promise to avenge their death.
