"You wanted to see me, my lady?" Gaius asked Guinevere as he walked into the room of the round table.

"Yes, Gaius, I know Arthur is... Dead," She looked down to the floor, sad, "but what of Merlin?" She asks, slightly confused as the where abouts of King Arthur's servant. Gaius thought long and hard, not quite sure of what to tell her.

"I'm not sure, my lady, but I suspect he will not be returning to Camelot," he says gravely.

"But, why? He deserves our thanks,"

"He knows that you are all very great full, but now Arthur's dead, I fear he sees no point in returning," The Queen sighed. She missed her friend, and she missed her husband more than anyone could ever imagine. She looked up off the floor and decided to change the subject, something she had been meaning to ask Gaius for a while since the battle.

"What news of Morgana?"

"The knights found her near the north border, a few hours from the Isle Of The Blessed. Dead," He smiled slightly, knowing Merlin finally killed her. The suffering could finally come to an end. Guinevere smiled,

"Who killed Morgana, we must thank them at once!" She said, determined to find out who killed her. Maybe she could reward them, maybe a knighthood? Her thoughts stopped when she heard his reply.

"Merlin," Gaius said shortly. She sighed,

"Thank you Gaius, you may go," she dismissed him. Once he left, she talks to one of the knights, who was a close friend of Merlin's, Sir Leon.

"I'd like you to search for Merlin, take someone with you, if there's any sign off him, see if you can bring him back to Camelot," he nodded, but before he went, he asked,

"Why do you want to find him?" She sighed,

"Because he's my friend, and we all owe him a greater debt than you can imagine, now go," she answered, leaving out the fact that it was Merlin who defeated the Saxons.
