Alpha's Innocent Doll

And so it begins....

As the morning rays of sunlight hit his body, he stretched lazily opening his eyes. Immediately, he is met with a pair of glittering eyes filled with rage. "good morning" Gabriel smiled roguishly, an air of arrogance swarming around him. He chuckled under his breath when she huffed angrily, and then swung her arms wide in frustration.  

With disgust dripping from every word, she snarled angrily at him,  "You need to change your sleeping style and this damn room." She was already dressed, an heading towards the door.  Pausing long enough to grab her purse as she left the guesthouse, she slammed the door in disgust. He had never taken a female to His real home, to His personal bed. That right was reserved for ONE female and ONLY one female. His Luna...that is if Moon Goddess ever let Him find her.

He groaned as he sat up and slowly arose from the bed . Stretching with a yawn, he pulled on his shirt with a rare sense of self loathing. Whenever he gave in and fulfilled his bodily lust, the girl would be thrown out of his bed because of his horrible kick.  His wolf , Sloan did this purposely, instead of allowing some harlot she wolf close to him in their sleep. One could say that he never liked to cuddle with them. His wolf absolutely refused to allow it, just as His wolf always growled and grumbled about his weakness when he slept with another useless female.  His wolf wanted only one female, His mate. Gabriel has pretty much given up on finding her at this point, after all, He was already in his twenties.

Most Alphas are able to find their mates between the ages of 17 and 19, regardless of the female's age and once found, she was protected at all costs until she reached an age of maturity. Once she has reached her age of maturity, usually around 16 -18, then her first "Heat" occurs. This age varies for all females wolves, but proximity to her mate does help to encourage one's "Heat" to appear. Once this happens, the Alpha will join with her, forsaking all females for her and only her. It was unheard of for an Alpha to go as long as He had without even the scent of His mate, much less finding her.....

As He dressed, his mind drifted back to a young girl, the one who shared his first kiss.  An overwhelming grief gripped him hard but He shook it off and continued to dress.  They had searched for James sister for years with no sign of her. He never understood this grief when she came to mind, nor why His wolf raged and tried to break free. It was probably the stress His best friend was feeling, as it was the anniversary of her disappearance. Gabriel never understood why His wolf acted like this, why was one lost little girl so important. Later he would come to understand, but now was not the time.

'Gabriel, clients will be arriving in an hour' He shook off thoughts of the past when His Beta James had informed him with mind link. He answered quickly, "I will be there' and headed off to the pack house kitchens to grab a quick breakfast and coffee before the clients arrived.

He found himself snarling in disgust when a hand stroked His arm from behind.  He was disgusted by both the touch and the cloying scent of perfume clogging His senses as Alice whispered into His ear.  "I see another slut had your attention last night, You know that must stop when You make ME the new Luna". He grabbed her hand as His wolf emitted an angry snarling growl, "You will NEVER be Luna, slut, go play with one of your boy toy wolves, and cease this senseless attempt to claim a place that will NEVER be yours"....

Alice jumped back in shock. Snarling at everyone in the kitchens and adjacent dining room which stopped and stared on in shock.  Everyone had thought that Alice would indeed be named Luna, as she had been hanging onto and dating Gabriel for 6 months, longer than any previous girlfriend had lasted.  Most everyone had been set for her to be named Luna, relieved to just have a Luna after all this time.  No one had liked Alice, she was manipulative and power hungry.  She had devious ways of getting rid of any competition for the Alpha's affections so everyone tolerated her and came to accept that even a bad Luna was better than none at all.

Alpha Gabriel was already 24, an admitted player who had refused to commit to anyone, even as He lost hope of ever finding His Luna. He was both ashamed and disgruntled by his reputation of being a male who enjoyed a wide variety of females.  Many girls wanted attention and he gave it to them. Because it takes two to tango, right?  Deep down, though, where it really counts, his heart and soul cried out for his Luna.

The pack slowly grew restless and wary.  Why had their Alpha reached 24 and still couldn't find his mate?  Was their pack cursed? What could they have done or what has HE done, to still have no mate?  After all these years has he stopped searching for her and given up?

These types of thoughts and quiet whispers were just one more reason girls wanted his attention.  They  believed he was going to make one of them His luna soon.  After all, the Silver Dust Pack needed a Luna, why shouldn't it be one of them?  

This explained why everyone had just accepted that Alice was the most likely choice as she was the one girlfriend who had lasted more than six months. So the entire pack was looking forward to the mating bond  They had started to relax and breathe easier, Alice had already started making plans on what to do with all that money and power, yet now, it is obvious from the Alpha's own lips, Alice was out and so was their hopes of soon having Luna.........

Elsewhere within the pack, a ripple of excitement, disbelief, fear and longing rippled down through the pack link to all members, a sense of anticipation building within everyone, even the Alpha...

"She is coming" Sarah squealed out to her son "she is coming, I can't believe it James, we finally found her, she is finally coming home, I am going to see my precious baby girl again." James nodded his head, feeling a pang of sadness upon seeing her tears.  That sadness was soon replaced with joy at seeing his mother so excited.

A ripple of excitement shot through him, and , as he was Beta of the Silver Dust Pack, it rippled out to everyone via the main pack link.  "After 15 years, I can't believe it," her voice become hoarse, tear started falling, sobs shaking her slender frame "I never thought I would ever see my baby again"

"Mom," both James and his wolf became distraught, He was really not very good at comforting someone who was crying, especially his mother. She had shed so many tears in the past fifteen years, they all had, when she had disappeared........his baby sister, whom he was supposed to protect and keep safe, but instead, had run off to play football with Gabriel, leaving her in the clutches of that vile woman who was once family to him, to them, until his beloved little Anna had gone missing.

"No, no I am not crying out of sadness," she grab the tissue wiping her face "its just, that I am so excited, that..." again she started sobbing. Years of waiting, years of overwhelming grief, and slowly losing hope as the years had passed were finally over .... Sarah was overcome now with hope and disbelief... Annabelle was finally coming home.
