Welcome Back

My old nightmares return

Creeping up behind me

So afraid of losing you

I will give up willingly

Invading darkness

Sacrificing my heart

Until there's nothing left

To break apart

Cant handle this again

I will just go and hide

Being comfortably numb

Holding on to my pride

Dont come any closer

I'd rather turn away

Then surrender my soul

Because you'll leave anyway

Giving up trust

I'm running off the track

The demons inside me awake

And whisper "welcome back"...
