We walked into the room and as Dimitri was placeing the pizzas on the table, Adrian popped up and attacked me with a hug and a big wet ol kiss, smack on the mouth. In front of everyone. In front of Dimitri.

"Rose I was so worried about you! Then you all leave and don't even bring me along! Little dhampir what were thinking breaking out of jail?"

" I was thinking I wasn't going to die in that damn cell and why are you here?"

"Come on Rose, I wasn't going to let you have all the fun without me. What's he doing here?" he looked at Dimitri.

"Dimitri broke me out." Adrian didn't looked pleased.

"You have no buisness being here," Dimitri stated dryly.

" It's America, I can do whatever I want."

" That may be so, but I can kick you out if you cause problems."

"I liked to see you try to kick me out." Adrian of course, didnt sound nervous at all. I mean its not like a nearly 6'6 Russian god was about to beat his ass. I guess that's my que.

"Whoa, guys let's take it down a few notches and take a ride on Reality. Number 1Adrian I'm glad your here, though you really shouldn't be and Number 2 Dimitri could so kick your ass. So I wouldn't recommend taunting him." Quite frankly, I was to tired to care what they did to each other.

"Did you get a room when you checked in, Adrian?"

"Of course. You and me can go grab the room and the rest of you can stay here." I knew one thing for sure, me and Adrian were not sharing a room.

"Definatley not." Dimitri spoke and I could literaly see the testosterone in the air.

"Its not your decision. It's Rose's. Rose, babe come on." I could see Dimitri's control slipping. His hands were clenching into fists and he had that look in his eye. I know I have to defuse the situation before Adrian ends up with a concussion.

"I have a better idea. How about all the guys in one room and girls in the other?" sounded reasonable to me.

Dimitri begged to differ.

"I don't think that would be a smart. That leaves two Moroi to one guardian."

"I can handle it."

"I don't like the idea of you defeneding two alone." I roll my eyes but come up with hopefully, the perfect alternative.

"Fine. Eddie, Me, Lissa and Mia in this room and you, Adrian and Christisn in the other. He can use fire in case if an attack, evening out the odds."

"Sounds good," it was Lissa who spoke, finally helping me to diffuse the situation. Suddenly the hotel phone rang and I jumped up to answer it. Saved by the bell.

"Rose?"

"Hey old man"

"I can't believe you broke out! You know how guilty this makes you look!?"

"I have my reasons, please just listen."

I told him all about the note and how we were in Vegas, not sure what our next move was.

"I have heard stories about a kid but I don't know if there true or not. I'll look into and see if I can find out where the child would be. And Rose,"

"Yeah?"

"Please stay where you are until I contact you, and above all PLEASE try to stay out of trouble." He suddenly soundered very tired. I told him I would and we said goodnight to each other. I hung up the phone and told everyone the news.

"So what now?" it was Mia who spoke. She had been very quiet the whole day and seemed exhasted.

"Lets go to bed, we all need rest."ext here...
