"It's here."

The final day of school.

Everyone was preparing their goodbyes, albeit the fact that they would see each other again. For me, though, that's a different story. I had someone in his mind. Though only two other people knew who this special someone was, I still kept very quiet about it.

I headed over to Femi and Annie. "So we finally get this moment once again, huh?"

"I know!! I'm so stoked for summer!" Femi exclaimed. She squealed and gave Annie and me a bear hug. I felt the same way, but it gave me some time to myself for once. Some time where I wouldn't have to worry about homework or friends.

Though something still bugged me. A thought that I'd always put in the back of my mind. Even if I could understand the concept of it happening, it almost always ended up going back on the brainstorming area.

A thought of me finding someone else to spend time with.

Someone else to share my lunch with, someone else to talk to when I feel lonely, someone else to be there for me, and for me likewise. I'd found a prime candidate, and kept her in mind.

I knew I had to be tactile, to make the right moves when necessary. Recent events prevented me from getting to her. But it was the end of the school year. Anything, any circumstance, and anyone could disrupt my plan. This, fortunately, never fazed me. I had to keep my patience at a maximum as I walked out the gates of the school, with the whole two other years of middle school being impacting yet puny in the events to follow.
