"I'm going to really miss you daisy" tommy says while hugging me. I look up to him and smile, "don't worry tommy, at least you still have all your friends. I have to go to a place where I know no one." I say laughing. "haha don't worry daisy, I'm sure you'll make heaps of new friends. Just don't forget about us, alright?" "Don't worry tommy I'll never forget you" I say holding back the tears. "i guess this I good bye, then" tommy says. I just smile, then tommy leans down, staring into my eyes and kisses me on the cheek. I automatically blush, "bye daisy" tommy says while walking away, "bye tommy".
"omg omg omg, daisy, tommy just kissed you" Tess screams
"on the cheek guys, calm down. It was more of a friendly goodbye kiss" I say still blushing. "ok sure" says Lacey.
"ummmm, Daisy, we're really sorry but tess and I aren't going to be able to come to the airport tomorrow. Mum said we can have the big party but can't go the airport, since t's a school day" says lacey with a frown.
"it's ok guys, I'll Skype you as soon as I get wifi. you can come visit me and I can come visit you guys whenever, it's not that far" I say trying to be brave. "just a 5 hour drive" says Tess with tears pouring out of her eyes. we all hug each other in a big group hug, our mascara all running down our faces.
"here we made you this. it's a picture from when we started kinder together" tess says holding out a frame the size of a piece of A4 paper. I smile at them both and hug them on last time, this one lasting longer.
"well i'll see you guys" I say whipping my tears
"Skype us as soon as possible, I mean it daisy" lacey says as I walk outside.
"I love you guys so much, I promise ill Skype you once I get there" I say. I walk down the street, it's pretty dark considering the street lights are on. I think about everything that happened tonight. I'm going to miss everyone so much, but I know I'll make some great new friends at north Carolina.
As soon as i get home, i wash my face, put my pj's on and hop straight into bed still holding the photo of Tess, lacey and me.My eyes slowly get heavier and soon I'm in a deep sleep.

"Wake up Daisy, we're going to north Carolina today!" my mums says too cheerfully. "This is a first, my own mother waking me up" i say laughing. "come on daisy, we have 2 hours to get to the airport. quickly have a shower and we'll be own our way. since the airport is an hour away". i simply smile and get out of bed.
I hop into our shower and decide to wash my hair once i get to north Carolina, i wash my body and get out. i decide on wearing my comfortable grey trackies with a lose white top and my new black Nikes.
i run down stair with my phone, "got everything" my mum asks, "of course" i smile. "alright north Carolina here we come!" my mother says putting her arm in the air. i just laugh.

Once we get to the airport, we check in our luggage and go get something to eat. i decide on a slice of banana bread with a chocolate milk. mum just gets a coffe. " come on sweetie, let's go sit over there, near the plane entrance" mum says. we walk over and as soon as we comfortable we are asked to board our plane.
"I bags window seat" i scream a little to loud. My mum just laughs.
__2 hours later__
"wake up mum, we're here!" i scream. Mum wakes up and smiles. "come one, lets go" mum says picking up her bag, i pick mine up to, i check my phone, 3.30. No wonder I'm hungry.
Mum and i go pick our luggage and head out the airport to get a taxi. As i get out the door from the airport i boil from the heat, "I didn't realise it was going to be this hot" I say, i look over to mum who has gone bright red from the heat. "neither, i an i knew it was going to be warm but not this, this is hot" we laugh and finally we get into a cool taxi. "1 walker st, please" mum tells the taxi. "ohhh very nice house Madame, only just finished being built" the taxi driver tell mum. "really?" mum says with a unsure face. "yes, yes. right out front of the beach, a pool, very big" the taxi driver smiles.
____couple of minutes later___
"here you are Madame. i told you it was a nice house" Mum and i stare out the window, "this is 1 walker street?" i say not taking my eyes away. im a bit surprised myself. this is not what we're used to isn't it daisy, haha. but you know what, i think we can get used to it" mum says laughing to herself. I can't wait to go look inside.
we pay the taxi driver and thank him. " you ready to see your new home, sweetie" "gosh yes" i say running into the house. It's full of gorgeous furniture and painting on the wall "it's gorgeous" mum says in ore. "alright sweetie, go choose a room". I run up these windy stairs. i can't believe i have the whole of this upstairs to myself. There are three rooms, two without a bathroom and 1 with, i choose the room with the bathroom. my room has a view of the beach with a gorgeous balcony. i walk onto the balcony and see all these kids out on the beach, that will be me soon.
i grab my suitcases and boxes and start putting everything away.
"Daisy, come down stairs please" i hear my mum call. "coming" I shout back. I run down the stairs and realise, I don't know where I'm going. "mum, where are you" I shout laughing, "walk to the front door than around that courner" I walk to the front door and around the corner i see a giant room filled with gorgeous furniture, a tv, a walk in wadrobe and her own bathroom. "we hit the jackpot, didn't we" mum says taking everything in.
*doorbell rings* "wanna go get that Daisy" mum says, "uhhh sure" i say walking to the door.
"Hi my name is Elizabeth, I live next door" Elizabeth smiles at me
"hi, I'm Daisy. Did you want to come in" i ask being polite
"oh thanks sweetie. so is are your parents home"?
"oh my father left my mother and i before i was born. but my mother is home. I'll just go get her" i say, i look at Elizabeth's face she looks a bit sad.
"oh sweetie I'm so sorry to hear that." thas ok. i walk into mums room, "a lady called Elizabeth is here, she lives next door" i say "oh ok" mum says trying to fix her hair. se gets a little self conscious at times. "come on mum, you look fine. mum and i walk out to the kitchen together and Elizabeth introduces herself again. Mum and Elizabeth seem to get on pretty well.

Daisy and Dianna seem like wonderful people. Dianna starts talking to me about her work when awkwardly my phone rings, I check who it is 'Nash' "oh sorry can i take this" i ask Dianna, "of course, go a head" i pick up
me- hi sweetie, what's up?
Nash- I'm really sorry mum, but Hayes has his football game tonight and I'm going with the boys to watch, neither of us can babysit Sky. I'm really sorry
Me- oh it's ok, i'll just have to find someone else
Nash- we're really sorry, anyways i've got to go, Love you
Me- it's ok sweetie, love you too.
i hang up, *sigh*
"everything ok Elizabeth?" Dianna asks
"yeah, just My sons can't babysit my 4 year old daughter, because my husband and i are going to a dinner with some friends. don't worry I'll just have to find someone else
"Daisy can babysit for you, can't you daisy" Dianna asks Daisy
"uhhh yeah i guess i don't have any other plans", oh yes "thank you so much daisy, I'll give you your pay now, how much?"
"oh no it's fine, consider it a act of kindness" Daisy says, i like daisy, she's very down to earth. se reminds me of myself.
"oh Daisy your so sweet, come over around 5" I give daisy a hug and walk out the door.
ok so i know i said Daisy was going to meet hayes this chapter but i was wrong, haha sorry definitely next chapter she'll meet him, yayaya get excited.
