I was about to ask Jace if there's an issue between Topher and him when a man with a blonde hair called him.

"Jace!" aniya.

"What now, Val?" iritang tanong naman ni Jace. Val??

"Blaise Valence Adamson?" bulong ko na mukha namang narinig nila.

"Yes? And you are..?"

"I'm Xhamelle. Call me Xam. remember, V?" ngisi ngising sabi ko sakanya. Nung una ay nagtaka siya kung anong minemeab neto pero natinag naman siya nang tawagin ko siyang 'V'.

"XAM?!" tumango naman ako bilang sagot. "I-ikaw na ba yan??" takhanf tanong niya havang kinukusot kusot ang kanyang mata.

"Magkakilala kayo?"singit ni Jace.

"Yes. She's my childhood bestfriend!" ngiti ngiting sabi ni V.

"And so are we..." bulalas ni Topher.

Childhood friends ko sila pareho pero si Jace hindi ko kilala.

And why is that?

Nagsinula na ang klase at ganun parin ako na bored na bored sa mga pinagsasabi ng mga guro namin.

"I have.. None." walang emosyong sabi ko.

"BOTH OF YOU! GO TO THE DETENTION ROOM, NOW!"

Natinag kami sa sigaw ng Prof namin.

Wala na akong nagawa at saka pumunta sa detention room.

"Its all your fvckin fault!"

"It's yours Xhan!"

"It's Xam! Jerk!"

Hindi na siya umangal at saka ako nangalumbaba.

"It's so boring." I muttered.

Saglit na nabalot kami ng katahimikan at siya rin lang para ang nagbasa nito.

"Let's Go?" tanong niya. Inangat ko ang ulo ko at nagtaas ng kilay. I don't get what he's saying. "Let's go out I said."

"We can't. Nasa School tayo diba?" sarcasticong sabi ko.

"Let's go!" sigaw niya. "Haven't yoy heard of the phrase 'skipping school'?" ngisi ngisi niyang sabi.

You mean..."Magcucutting tayo?!" medyo napataas na ang boses ko. Hindi niya pa nga ako sinasagot pero walang alinlangan niya akong hinila palabas ng isa sa mga bintana rito.

Triny kong pumiglas sa hawak niya but his grip was too tight.

"San ba tayo.. pupunta??" tanong ko sa kalagitnaan ng paghihila niya saakin.

"Secret."

Don't tell me..

"This is where the fun stuff happens." aniya.

"Mall?!?" tanong ko nang makarating sa paroroonan namin. "Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of your insane mind."pagmamaktol ko.

Inilibot ko ang tingin ko sa mall na pinaroroonan namin. "What in the world... Are you gonna go shopping?"

"Nope."

"Then wh-"

Natigilan kami pareho nang biglang..

Brrrrrkkkk!

tunog ng tyan ko.

"Seems like your little friend, here. Is already hungry, huh?" pabirong sabi niya.

Inirapan ko siya at hindi nalang pinansin hanggang s amakarating kami sa Mcdonalds.

"Errr.. Were gonna eat here?" bulong ko.

"Yes. Why? Are you fond of eating in luxurious restaurants?"

"No. I'm not." ani ko. "Unfortunalety, Mcdonalds is one of my favorite restaurants or fast food chain here in our country."

I was about to put out my money, when..

"My treat."'aniya.

"Nah. I have my own money."

"K." uso ba ang mga k-zoners ngayon?!

I ordered 1 chicken fillet with fries and rice, oreo mcflurry and an apple pie.

"You definitely have a huge monster in there." he said. "Yet you're too skinny." he complained.

"Correction. I'm slim. Not skinny." sarcasticong sabi ko.

Jace's POV

I don't know what's wrong with me but this girl is making me feel comforatble when she's around.

But the thiught of her being friends with Topher made me puke. Why the hell is she even friends with that bastard?

I don't know what came up with my mind when I said those words. "Are you.. In a relationship with Topher?"

Napasamid siya sa iniinom niyang float dahil sa biglaang pagtanong ko. "Argh! Why the fvck did you ask such a question out of the blue?!"

"Cause I want to."

"Why? Are you Jealous?" my mind didn't process that damn stupid question.

"Where the hell did you get that idea anyway?!" di makapaniwalang sabi ko. "Are you that desperate to think that I like you?"

"I did not. To be honest, I think you're not comfortable when I'm around, did you?"

Wrong. You're too mysterious that's why I find you interesting.
