Akane giggled as her little sister attempted to cook an egg on the stove.

     "It isnt funny..." Her sister, Ryouku pouted.

     "Come on, Imoutu-chan, show that egg who's boss!" Akane stated, standing over her sister, taller by at least a foot. Five feet tall, Mid length black hair, and a pale complexion, complimenting her blue eyes that seemed endless, almost hiding a deep, dark secret.

    "I can't, Akane-Chan!" Ryouku pouted, storming away from the kitchen and into her own room.

Sigh... Why cant Kaasan teach her to cook? She thought as she cleaned the pan, turned off the stove, and went into her room, as well. She didn't hate her sister, but she could get extremely annoying at times.

Like when she steals the remote.. Or my phone..

Not wanting to dwell on those thoughts, she put her headphones on, and listened to music.

     Akane awoke to a poking feeling on her face.

     "Imouto-Chan?" She asked groggily.

     "You're going to be late for school, Akane-Chan.." Ryouku prodded her face, not letting up.

Akane slowly sat up, wanting to lay back down and hug her pillow to sleep.

"Kaasan would not want you to miss your first day at this new school." She stated, staring at Akane.

Leave me alone...

Akane got up, much to her disliking, and slowly got dressed in her school uniform, consistent of a black shirt, red skirt, and a red tie.

Akane flung the red substance from her palms, scowling from across the table.

     "Azuke-chan!" She exclaimed, glaring at her friend.

     "Akane?" Shiro asked, smirking.

Shiro Azuke was Akane's best friend, they had known each other since their first year of school.

Azuke had fiery red hair, grey eyes,

and a bad temper.

     "You got ketchup all over me..." Akane said, pouting for emphasis.

Azuke grinned and shrugged, walking off to class.
