My dream is to see the ocean. I know it's not a big deal but to me it's a lot. Every night I dream of letting the waves take me away, a place far away from home where I'm not sick.
My mom woke me up from my dreams before she was to leave for work.
' Kate is coming today, be good for her alright?' She says kissing my head.
'I'm always good to Kate she's my favourite' I say smiling and getting up.
I put on a jumper over my pyjamas and head to the window to stalk Joey, I mean to see if he's there.
I sit on the window still 'reading my book' and watch him put on a shirt. Wow he's got abs.
He catches me looking at him once again and I turn away.
He fires rocks at my window and I laugh looking up. He's smiling cutely with his phone in his hand. I pick up mine and look at my messages.
Joey- texts
Joey: shouldn't you be having your beauty sleep?
Maya: Joseph again with the pickup lines
Joey: sorry I couldn't resist
Maya: I really want to meet you in person
Joey: same

' Maya breakfast is ready! ' Kate calls from downstairs.

Maya: I gotta go Joseph my nurse is calling me.
Joey: okay , I hope I see you pretty face again.

I look up rolling my eyes and walk downstairs smiling.
'Good morning Kate' I say sitting down at the breakfast counter.
'Morning Maya how are you doing this morning ?' She asks smiling. She's such an amazing nurse , we're so close we're like best friends basically.
' really good ' I smile eating up my breakfast.
She carries on cleaning the house.
I finish my breakfast and go back to my creation room to watch some funny cat videos like everyday.
Sometimes I wonder to myself, am I depressed. No I am not depressed, you might think so but my mom would've told me by now.
I get a text from Joey on my laptop and smile big. I love getting texts from him.
Joey- messages
Joey- Hey May
Me- you mean Maya ?
Joey- I rather call you may ;)
Me- oh okay aha
Joey- I'm still wishing on meeting you in person
Me- me too

Just then Kate walks in, I quickly delete off the page still smiling a lil.
'What are you smiling about ?' She asks smiling placing my clothes on my desk.
'Oh just watching cat videos' I smile looking at her.
'Hmmm you sure? Can I see?' Kate asks.
Shoot she got me there.
' oh uh well the cat dies at the end so um I don't think you would like it' I say trying not to laugh.
' oh come on Maya I'm not falling for that, who's the guy' she says nudging me.
'Okay okay he's the neighbour, he's so cute and I wish I could meet him but-' she interrupts me 'but you can't go on the outside' she says sighing.
I say nodding looking down. 'Hey I've an idea but you cannot tell your mom okay!' She says smiling. ' um okay? ' I say laughing and she leaves. I continue texting Joey,

Me- I'm so sorry my nurse came in
Joey- it's fine :) so...
