Anti's perspective~
I stare into the lights strung around the tree. The room smelled of cookies and pines. The warmth of the room reminds me of how it felt to be around Dark in the cold autumn nights. I can't help but let a tear travel down my face. I miss him, I didn't even check to see if he was gone or not.. I decided to turn around, when I was taken aback.
Dark's Perspective~
I continue to watch the movie when the couch slightly sinks where I'm sitting. I didn't bother to look over, since I figured Jack was just shifting around again. I stare at the tv screen with a blank face, thinking about Anti. I think about his smile when I helped him. I thought about the last day I saw him.
*Flashback*
I was walking down the street with Anti. It was 2am, so we decided to stay out a bit longer. He tried to tell me he loved me.. but.. I told him we couldn't. We walked for another 15 minutes before he wanted to go home.. so when we did.. we cuddled for .5 seconds. I could almost hear his voice saying, "I love you, Dark."
*end flashback*
I wish I could see him again. I wish I could hear his voice. I then heard a poop right next to the Christmas tree. I look to see that Jack was still awake.
'Should I try to help him sleep?' I thought to myself. I decided to get up and walk over to him.
Is he... crying? I reach out to pat his shoulder, when he turned around. He was crying... but it wasn't Jack.
Anti's perspective~
I turn to see Dark, towering about me... one arm out. We stare at each other for 10 seconds before I shuffle up and start to back away.
"An-anti?" He asked. I stayed silent, rubbing my eyes.
Gah! I'm such a fool! How could I let Dark see me like this? I have to go.. but.. something's off about him. He seems, depressed. His vibe wasn't like usual. It wasn't his warm, confident self. He seemed like he didn't know anything anymore. I backed away faster and faster. Once my back was against the door, I opened it and ran away into the night.
"Wait, Anti!" I herd him yell after me.
Dark's perspective~
Anti ran away from me. What did I do? Why was he crying? He didn't look okay. You could tell he was thinning. His eyes had dark circles around them and their color was turning a gray shade. I decided to run after him, into the street.
"Anti?!" I yell into the night. I heard shuffling to my right. I see him, in a tree. He was between two branches, laying like you would in a hammock. I climb up behind him quietly, and sit on a branch next to him.
"Anti..." I say quietly. He jumps slightly, and sits up on a branch.
"Anti, please don't go." I say. He looks down, then looks back up at me, with a straight and stern face.
"Where have you been, are you okay?" I ask him.
"i̞̟̫̺ͭ̒ͭͣ'm̘͈̺̪͓ͩ͂̾ͪ̀̋ f̳͉̼͉̙͔͈̂̉i̞̟̫̺ͭ̒ͭͣn͉̠̙͉̗̺̋̋̔ͧ̊e̮̟͈̣̖̰̩̹͈̾ͨ̑͑.." Anti says. His voice... it sounds different. It wasn't perky, and outrageous. It was more forced and neutral. It may not have been normal, but it was sure as hell good to hear him again.
"Have you been eating? You look thin." I say. Anti just looks me up and down and squints his eyes.

He said. I look down. Yes, I'm thinner than I was before... but not very unhealthy like him.
"Anti." I said sternly. "You know you're thin is unhealthy."
Anti stares at the ground, then looks back up at me.

I nod, putting out my hand for him to hold, he seems cold.
Anti's perspective~
He caught me in the tree. I tried to ignore him at first. But he started talking to me.
"Anti..." he said quietly. I jump slightly, and sit up on a branch.
"Anti, please don't go." He said. I looks down, then look back up at him, with a straight and stern face.
"Where have you been, are you okay?" He asks me. I don't want to show it, but it feels good to hear his voice.

I explain. Dark looks me in the eyes.
"Anti, it's hurting you. You need food." He tells me. I nod, and let go of his hand.
"Why don't you come with me tonight?" He asks me. I slowly look up and give the best smile I could muster. It was enough to fool Dark, and he took me hunting. It was just like old times..
