(Y/N) POV
I was wondering through the forest after my parents left me here. I was only 7 and yet my parents hated me. I tripped over a branch because i wasn't paying attention and hurt my hands and knees. I started to cry but i heard a gentle but loud voice say"do not cry child" when i looked up i saw a white and light blue (spider it was a spider!!!!!! no? ok*sad*)dragon!"a-are you a dragon" he chuckled "yes child i am a dragon. would you like to learn ice/snow dragon slayer" i was still in aw at the fact he was a dragon so i just shook my yes then i remember what my father said
Flashback
"you worthless piece of crap" my father yelled after i failed to use a weak ice make spell again. he had been trying to teach me that spell for a couple of months now but i have not been able to use one spell "im sorry" i whimpered that just enraged him more "sorry dont cut it anymore you brat!!!" he was furious "get out of my site and do something productive"
End of Flashback
"my name is Beddre (thank you dragon name generator because i would have put frosty as in frosty the snowman) what is your name child" he said as he crouched down to let me on his back"Y/N" i answered as i got on his back and i yawned "thank you daddy"
(time skip 2 year later)
i had been doing really well then one day Beddre said something that confused me"child (Y/N) take this in case i must leave so you will always know that i love you and i will be watching over you" then he handed me a necklace that was beautiful and he told me to put it on.
