Chapter 4

Stefan comes and finds Jermey and I talking. "Hey Em!" "Hey Steffie!" He laughs. "Still have that nickname for me?" "Hey, I haven't seen ya in 150 years to change it!" I smile. "You wanna go see Damon?" "Yes!" I squeal. Jermey and Stefan rub there ears. "Sorry!" I say whiter and laugh. "Jermey, I will probably see you later, since our siblings are dating and are obsessed with each other!" I say laughing. Jermey laughs and Stefan says, "yeah, we were gonna meet at his house to talk about the Masquerade Ball! Kathryn will be showing up!" "I'm coming, and I'm gonna kill that evil little vampire!" I say. Jermey laughs. "Your so cute when your trying to be evil!" He says ruffling my hair. I dodge his hand, and grab his wrists. He pulls me to where I am standing in front of him, and our faces are inches apart. We stand, getting lost in each other's eyes until Stefan clears his throat. We pull away from each other and have killer blush going on! "Em, let's go see Damon!" Stefan says. "Dammie!" I squeal. He laughs. "I'll see you later Emmy!" Jermey says walking off. Stefan turns to me. "You and Jermey huh?" I slap his chest. "Jermey is my best friend you butt head!" I say and he laughs. He puts his hands up in a surrender form. I laugh. He starts walking and I cross my arms. "What's wrong?" He says. I hold my arms in front of me like a zombie, and he sighs. He walks over to me, and lifts me up on his back. "You know, for a half vampire half human, your really heavy!" He says walking. "Thanks!" I say happily. "Your not mad that I said that?" "I like seeing you in pain!" I say. He laughs.

We get to the boarding house and I smile. "I have thought coming back in every time I came here, but I just couldn't bring myself to it!" I say. He smiles. "Well, you can come in now!" He says smiling. I hug him and he hugs me back. "Here's the plan! I will go in and start talking to him! When I say come in, I want you to walk in!" He says and I nod happily. He walks in, but keeps the door open. "Damon! I have a girl you might like to see!" Stefan says. I laugh. "Is she cute?" Damon asks. Eww! "I don't think so, but Jermey does." "I'm guessing she's human then!" "Sorta!" "What does that mean?" "Come in!" I slowly walk in, and see Damon. I squeal and run to him. I jump up and wrap my legs around his waist. He hugs me, and actually starts crying. "Is Damon Salvatore crying?" I say in between tears. "I just saw my little sister that I have thought was dead for the pass 150 years, so yes!" He says letting go. I let go and jump back down. I wrap one arm around Stefan and one around Damon. "I'm so glad I have my brothers back!" I say crying even more. They laugh. "Damon, do you still have the charm? Stefan said you put it in your daylight ring!" "Yes!" I smile. Then I show him my charm bracelet that I still wear. He smiles. "I remember getting those right before I left!" I smile. "How do you not have a ring if you are a vampire?" Stefan says. "Sunlight doesn't affect me!" I say. Damon looks confused. "When I was turned, I was cursed!" "What's the curse?" "I'm half vampire, half human!" "How?" "A good friend of mine didn't want me to have to suffer with all of that, so she made a spell where I would only be turned into a half a vampire. She wanted it to be where I had the qualities of one, and where I was immortal, but it turned out to be a curse. If I use vampire strength, I bruise. If I use vampire healing, it scars. If I use vamp hearing, I get a bad headache. If I use vamp speed, I have an asthma attack. Vervain does not effect me at all, neither does sunlight!" He nods. "Were you like this when we met you?" "Yeah! I even tried warning you about Kathryn, but you didn't listen!" He looks really guilty. "Well if it makes you feel any better, we are going to kill her tomorrow night!" I smile. "Finally!" I squeal. They laugh. "Well, I need to get back to my hotel to clean up!" I say. "Oh no! Your staying here!" Damon says. I smile. "Yay! Thanks!" I start walking to the door. "Where are you going?" Stefan says. "I have to get my stuff from my place!" They nod and I walk outside. "Damon! Come with me! My cars still at the school!" I say. Next thing I know, he's right behind me. He walks me over to a shed, and opens it. I see a car under a tarp and pull it off. It's a blue camaro. "Nice car!" I say to him. He laughs and nods. "Thanks!" I get in the passenger seat, and he starts the car. "I've missed you Lenny!" I giggle at his own nickname for me. "I miss you to Damy!" He laughs. He pulls up to the school, and I get out. I walk to my truck, and open the door. I drive to my hotel and grab all my stuff. I pay for my room since I can't compel, but it doesn't hurt, I have ALOT of money! I drive back to the boarding house and get out. Stefan and Damon come out. "Need any help?" They say. "Nope! Only have one bag!" I say pulling my suitcase out of the backseat. "Wow! Most girls would have twenty!" I laugh. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm not like most girls." They laugh. I walk in and up the stairs. "Witch room is mine?" "Your old one!" I smile and walk into it. It hasn't changed one bit! I set my suitcase on my bed and start looking around. I look in my drawers and see my old dresses and corsets. "Man! I do not miss these !" I say aloud. I hear somebody laugh and turn around to see my brothers standing there. "We didn't touch your room once we moved back in!" I smile. I walk over to my bookshelf. "Why is there a twilight book?" I say. Stefan looks at Damon with a scary smile. "I wanted to read it to see how they thought vampires were! I finished it then put it in your room, so it didn't look like I was reading it!" He says. I burst into laughter. "I need to go shopping! I need some girl-friends to go with!" "Go with Elena, Caroline, or Bonnie!" Stefan says. "Caroline seems to much like Barbie! Bonnie reminds me of Emily, and Elena reminds me of Kathryn! I can't do Elena if she looks that much like Elena, and Bonnie just makes me sad when I think of Emily! I watched Emily die, and had to take care of her baby for a while!" I say. They frown. "How about my brothers go with me?" "No way!" They day at the same time. I walk over to them and pin them against the wall using my original vampire strength. I hold there throats and they start grabbing at my hand. "You will go shopping with me!" I say. "Okay!" They whisper and I let go. I look at my hands and see the bruises turn into scars. I smirk. "Although I now have more scars, in glad I convinced you to go with me! Now! I need new clothes, books, and a dress for tomorrow!" I say talking to myself. They frown and walk out of the room. I walk over to my bookshelf, and look at all the books.

I didn't have many books! I had a lot more back in my Mikalson House, but I left them there when I left! I grab the books and walk to Stefan's room. "Damon! Come to Stefan's room!" I yell. He vamp speeds up here. "Here's some books you guys can have! I don't want them anymore!" I say. I put the books on his bed then walk to Stefan's book shelf. "Stefan, you kept diaries?" I say. "Yeah!" I nod. I keep them to. I have been writing in a diary since I was 11 years old! I had over 2000! A couple years ago I went and ripped out all the important pages, then threw away the books that were from before 1864. I walk back to my room and start unpacking my bag. I pull out my journals and put them on there own bookshelf. I will be going though them again soon.
