Hurricane Harvey

Some peeps may still be packing for the hurricane. So here's a list of basic supplies you need:

*water
*canned/non-perishable food
*flashlights
*chargers/batteries
*whistles (in case you need a cry for help, you never know)
*first-aid kit
*an extra outfit (in case you gotta flee)
*wet wipes
*feminine hygiene products (aka pads and tampons)
*toilet paper
*hand sanitizer
* plastic bags
*pocket knife
*pHoNes
* full tank of gas
* blankets
*cash
*rain boots/rain coat
*insurance papers
*medical records
*birth/marriage certificates
*Passports
*ID/driver's license

If you choose to stand your ground please be safe and aware that Harvey is now a Category 4 Hurricane. Keep in touch with family and friends. Make a plan in case anyone gets split up, lost, etc. Use sand bags to help protect your house and board up windows. IMMEDIATELY go to high ground if your house starts to flood. DO NOT DRIVE IN A FLOOD. (People have done it and it's absolutely stupid, don't be one of those people). Be sure to have your backpack ready in case you need to get the fuck outta there.
