Annabeth's P.O.V

Three Months Later.

I can talk to owls, which is ironic.

I can also control the air and water, which is saddening, but I don't let it show.

I've become the winter solider's partner, who has been teaching me how to shoot.

I'm getting better at it, too.

I'm now allowed to go on a mission, which is surprising, considering that I've been asking for one for ages.

I'm the 'Owl' as everyone likes to call me.

Why? Because I can talk to them?

They think that I'm on their side, but I'm going to leave during the mission.

Hopefully with a bang.

I've been dreaming of Percy and the rest of the seven recently, just nice dreams, no demigod ones so far.

"Hey Owl." Winter says. I've been allowed to teach him English, so, naturally, I've been teaching him day and night, until he's fulent.

"Yes Winter."

"Missions now."

"Okay. Suit up?"

"Yes."

I take my suit and go to the bathroom, locking the door.

My suit is like The black widows, except that it doesn't show my boobs and has an owl on it instead of an hour glass.

A screech owl, to be precise. (If you haven't heard these owls at midnight, you don't know fear. They. Are. Terrifying.)

Percy (Or Leo. More likely Leo) Would say an owl-glass.

I walk out and grab the knives (both throwing and regular), the guns and riptide.

It was (one of) the only thing (s) that I have left of him.

"Done." I nod.

"Here." He says, passing me something that they didn't train me to use.

"How do I?"

"You're leaving, right? You'll need this so I can leave with you." He says. I blink.

"Okay?" I mumble, putting it in a small pocket.

"We're ready." Winter says to our handlers.

They take us to a room.

"This is an assassination and information pickup. Kill this woman." He points to a woman with red hair standing next to a man with blond hair and a bow and arrows set. "And this man."

"Why?" I ask. "If we just need information, why kill them?"

I'm slapped and I spin to the ground.

"Don't talk back or you will be shot. They are terrorists."

"They are a part of the avengers." I say, standing up. "I'm not killing an avenger, or anyone for that matter!"

"Then you are mistaken." He says.

"Shot." I say, a gun in my hand. "Your right. I'll start with you."

"Shot me and they kill both of you."

I bite my lips. I can't drag Winter down with me.

"Fine." I spit. "Fine."

"We need you to also get information about shield."

"Sure." I say.

"Kill anyone you need to, just don't betray us, or he'll die."

We walk out, stony faced.

"I'm going to kill everyone here one day." I grumble under my breath as we hop into a car.

"Can it, kid." He mutters. "Lets just pretend, then you can do some good acting or a meltdown and get the avengers on our side."

"Sure." I say, resting my head against the wall.

When we get there, Thor better not be there.

I don't need that sort of stress.
