"NIQUEEEE, we gonna be late if you don't wake up now." My sister Toni said plopping on my bed. I was up just wasn't ready for this shit.

"It's gonna be fine just relax, want some?" She grabbed my lighter off my dresser and lit a blunt while getting up.
"Yeah." I was tryna rush to gather my things and smoke at the same time finally making it to the bathroom.
I just moved here from living with my moms who basically told my dad she don't want me anymore after 17 fucking years😑 like what was the wait for. It's cool tho cause her and I always bumped heads anyways. So now I live wit my pops, his wife, my step sister, and our step brother who was just born. Atl is fine but it don't compare to Brooklyn.
"TONIIII CAN YOU GET MY PHONE!" She came in straight facing me and plugged my phone up on the charger and turned on my music already knowing what I wanted to hear.

"Nique I'm not gonna tell you again." I was just finishing up my makeup while she busted through the door with my bag and shoes.
"You look cute, took you long enough."
"Shut up I just don't like being new..shit is annoying." I sighed and slid on my huaraches. We walked downstairs to see my step mom feeding the baby.
"Girls have a nice day and nique no getting into trouble." She said playfully rolling her eyes n giving us hugs. Okay first off I'm confused why everyone thinks I'm bad when I don't do anything at all...
We hopped in Toni's jeep n I turned on the radio
"This is my song like I'm in my feelings now." I said fake crying as we pulled off.
"Bitch shut up." She said rolling her eyes laughing. Me and Toni haven't really known each other before I moved here but my dad told me about her. She's pretty cool but just by the way she acts around MY pops sometimes you can tell she's spoiled and the jealous type.
We pulled up to the school and it was big af like huge. We stepped out and these 2 girls just ambushed us while screaming. "MY HOES!" Toni screamed hugging them.
"We missed you bitch." The tall one said as they kept hugging and screaming.
" I missed y'all too, but y'all this is my sis I was telling y'all about, nique this is Kennedy and malin." Toni cleared up while pointing at them. I gave them hugs and greeted them before we all walked in the school.
"So where's the office?" I said interrupting their conversation. "Oh yeah, malin can you take her cause we gotta go to first period early." Toni said referring to her n Kennedy.
"Yeah I got you hun, come on girl." We linked arms and walked to the office.
"Excuse me, I'm new here and I need my schedule." I said to the man at the desk.
"Name?" Someone definitely took a shit in his breakfast this morning cause he had a whole attitude.
"Unique Wallace." I said returning an attitude. He handed me my schedule n I snatched it walking out.
"Your too much." Malin said giggling. I plainly shrugged at her comment. I liked Malin she was sweet and bubbly and you never come across people like that no more but that Kennedy girl was acting like she had an attitude wit me, I was about to trip her dummy ass.
Overall it was cool here but big as hell and confusing. Everyone was looking at me like I was they favorite movie or some shit like damn, country folk nosy asab.
"You want me to come back for you after class." Malin said as we approached what I think was my classroom. "Nah it's cool I'll find my way." I gave her a hug and walked in the classroom and sadly but typically all eyes were on me. (love that song😭)
"Hi I'm new here, my name is Unique Wallace." I said to a tall slim white man standing at the large desk.
"Oh I've heard about you." He said as if he was exhausted of me already.
"Well hello to you too." I mumbled. "Class this is our new student, unique would you like to share something about you to the class." He said walking over to the board.
"Nah they'll be ite." I said making some people giggle even tho I was deadass.
"Alrighty then my name is Mr. Mitchel and you can sit anywhere you like." He said motioning to the other desks.
I nodded and made my way to the far back and sat next to this big book shelf.
I sat down and analyzed the whole class, I was just about to put in my headphones when the girl next to me said something.
"Ayo shawty, where you from." She said making the boys next to her turn around n stare at me. She was cute and by the way she approached me i'm pretty sure she was gay or bi or something and if I was into that she'd be the first person I'd look at.
"I'm from Brooklyn." I said smiling reminiscing memories wit my old friends.
"Oh fr so is me and Kim (pronounced keem)." This built darkskin boy said pointing to this other boy. My gaze followed where he was pointing and landed on this boy with braids. He had beautiful chocolate skin, and the most straightest white teeth I've ever seen. He had a mysterious yet chill vibe to him which only made me wanna find out more. His eyes were so dark and demonic but at the same time soft and sweet. His hair was gorgeous like no one can pull that off and he could dress. He was beautiful and I couldn't stop staring at him and he intensely returned the gesture.
