Chapter 14

Chapter 14

"I had a lot of fun today Noah. Thanks for taking me to see the movie." Mia said quietly gazing intently at Noah. Both of them were on the Burns' porch, after their date and saying good byes to each other. "Thanks for coming. I didn't chick flicks could be well...not boring." he replied with a smirk.

Mia fake dropped her jaw,"Noah Anderson! You were asleep the entire time!" she accused.

"Not the entire time! I saw some bits..."

"Yeah, the beginning and the ending of the movie!"

He chuckled at her respond. He had actually had a great time with Mia that night. She was witty, humorous and a great kisser. He was glad he hadn't changed his mind about not going to see the movie with her. 

Her face was flushed and her eyes were sparkling. He could see that she had a good time with him as well. "Thanks for coming..."

"I'm sorry I bailed out on you earlier..."

"Hey! We could always do what I planned so thoughtfully for today afternoon some other time, right?"

She nodded exuberantly. "Definitely!"

"Good night Mia."

"Good night Noah..."

Suddenly, he brought his lips on hers and started kissing her, slowly and gently, taking in the smell of her strawberry-scented hair and the the way her delicate little hands felt in his. She kissed back with the same passion he was kissing her. 

He stopped and gently brought his face away from hers. Her lips were swollen and she was blushing. It was quite cute to be honest.

"Sweet dreams Mia." he said to her and winked, walking away from her still body near her door. He watched as she brought her fingers to her lips and smiled, before waving at him and heading inside.

'ZOOM!' went a car with an incredibly high speed past him. He walked home slowly and when he turned to the street where his house was, he saw the same car parking at the Rayner household. He stopped and stared as a clearly, very angry looking Susie Rayner got out of the car and slammed the car door shut behind her with a loud 'BANG!'

This did not look good. What if she had gotten into another fight with Mike? He noticed that the house was dark and that Susie was fumbling with the keys at the front door. Guess no one was home. 

He walked over to where she stood ans said, "Hey Susie!"

She jumped two feet in the air and put her hand on her heart. "Noah! You scared me!"

She finally got the lock to budge and opened the door, looking at him with a questioning gaze.

"What's wrong Susie? You looked really mad when you drove past me a few minutes ago... Is it Mike?" he asked and stepped in after she motioned him to do so. The Rayners had a fairly sized, cozy house. It had something very home-y about it and as he walked over to where the brown couch in their living room lay, he couldn't help but reminisce the memories of when Susie was obsessed with him.

"You hungry?" she asked from the kitchen, not bothering to answer his earlier question. Now the truth was that Noah was extremely hungry. The movie was as boring as shit, and he had slept most of the time. So, he was at Susie's place with an empty stomach, which was growling like mad right then.

"Starving." he replied earnestly.

He heard scuffles and squeaks from the kitchen, and the sound of the fridge door opening and closing. 

"I have  a couple of slices of some leftover cheese pizza...but I could always order more if you really are hungry..." she murmured, loud enough so he could hear. 

"No! It's fine! I'll have the leftover cheese pizza... I like leftovers!" he said cheerily. Susie was in a real foul mood and he was sure that his unexpected arrival had made it worse.

"Susie, you don't have to go through all the trouble, I'll have something on my way home. I just say you mad and wanted to know what's wrong." he said after a while, realizing his mistake. He stood up and walked to the kitchen where he saw Susie, waiting for the microwave to stop, with fat tear drops rolling down her cheeks. Oh dear, this was a very bad time.

"Susie?" he asked cautiously, walking closer to her. She flared up like a firecracker.

"Leave me alone Noah! I'm getting your leftover pizza so just sit there on the couch and wait for me! Why are you even here?" she asked, turning to face him, angry tears streaming down her face. "Just...just let me be!" she said softly after a while, scrubbing the tears from her face.

Why was she crying?

The microwave timer interrupted the awkward silence that was engulfing them. She punched the 'Open' button and Noah ducked before the opening door hit his face. She took out the box but it was too hot for her too handle so it ended up burning her fingers.

"Shit!" she cursed and squeezed her probably throbbing fingers. Noah didn't know what came over him or what spirit possessed his human form. He took her fingers from her other hand and brought them to his lips.

Susie's eyes flew wide open, still wet from the tears. She watched him intently as he stroked her throbbing fingers before planting kisses on them.

Suddenly, he pulled her close, just an inch between them and...

A/N: HAHAHA! I AM SO EVIL!!! And now I'm thinking that Noah is just messed up. Like, he kissed Mia and thought about how much he liked it before coming over to Susie's like he lives there and starts kissing her fingers? Yeah I have invented two messed up characters :P

So what do you think will happen next? Will Noah FINALLY lick a girl's (Susie's) salty tears away? Or will he do something equally/more disgusting? Find out in the next chapter tomorrow!

Oh and I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT TOS HAS LIKE 66 VOTES!!! This is like a new record for my writing "career"! Also, can you guys please check out @Humsafarian's story 'My Twitter Romance' (which is actually written by me but she's taking all the credit for it ;))? It would mean a SUPER LOT!! Because it's based on a TRUE story! I'm the girl called Abby so watch out for her if you read it because she's dead awesome, like me of course ;)

ALSO, (I know I'm just going on and on) I tried making my own cover but it was a FAIL! So I'm sticking to the one my friend (Who is also in 'My Twitter Romance', she's Olivia) made for me! Therefore, this chapter is dedicated to her!

GUYS PLEASE VOMMAN! I'M DESPERATE HERE!!! Also think about how epic I am because I upload EVERYDAY without saying "I'll upload if I get 100+ votes or 100+ comments" or something like that... But if you do want to know my aim for this chapter, it's almost 15+. I mean, COME ON! THERE'S A SUSIE+NOAH MOMENT IN HERE!!!

I'll shut up now. The reason this was so long is because I've never reached Chapter 14 while writing anything EVER so this is like a record-breaker!
