I sit slumped into the lunch table, head buried in my arms. I hear footsteps, thinking it's just Eve I keep my head down, trying to get what little rest I can. When Ms. Malvolia announces, "Mr. Hunter, I need you in my room for the remainder lunch." I feel even more raw. I follow her silently down the halls and into her classroom. She sits in her chair, I perch myself up upon her table. She holds up todays assignment. "I said to do what, Mr. Hunter?"

I sigh, I hate being patronized. "To draw something important to us from history."

"So, why did I get a battleground, a guillotine and a graveyard?"

"Because to me those are important pieces of history. They mark the tragedy and death that got us to a reasonable home. It represents what our ancestors did to get us this land.  Kingdoms as a whole, past and even present. Tell me madam, how is that irrelevant?"

"Hmm..." she puts the paper on her desk and writes 95% on it.

"Points off for?..."

"Depression and lack of information."

"Fair enough." Can I go now? I'm suffocating here!

She gets up and stand in front of me, "Andrew Hunter."

"Alumit Malvolia."

"What's wrong dear?" She sets her hand on my knee, I look at her,

"I'm not your dear." I jump off the desk and make my way to the door. She grabs my hand,

"Maybe not now. But you can be. C'mere, tell me what's wrong."

I stare at her, she doesn't want to talk. Neither do I. I grab her and walk backwards, locking the door. I push her against the frame and kiss her neck.

"How are you?" She skims her fingertips over my dick in my pants;

"Good."

"Good." She says with a slight grin.

Let's just say I had a good 15 minute break.

"The Art teacher?" Jake gasps, "Dude! Guts!"

"She's like 25, and she's decent for a human."

"Mhmm. Sure."

I smack him on the back of the head. Eve comes bounding up as we sit at the usual table.

"Hey! Where have you been?" You guys missed the biggest brawl ever!"

"Aww!" Jake moans. I roll my eyes.

"But, that's not what you're excited about."

"Nope!"

She can't keep that smile off her face. It's not her normal warm smile its something else, something she's lighting up for. Like a 4 year old getting a toy truck for Christmas.

"So, you gonna dish it, or, do we have to guess...?" William prods.

"Guess!"

"Great Jake now we have to guess. Had to open your loud mouth."

"Yup."

"Guys! Come on!"

I give her a parenting look without meaning to. She stops jumping up and down and sits at the table, her smile, finally, demolished.

"Tell." I say.

Her smile bounces back and her voice gets all high and girly, "He asked me out!"

"Who did?" I ask. Honestly, she could get any guy in here if she changed her style a bit. And didn't talk so much about things must people don't have the knowledge to understand. She was far too intelligent to hold a conversation with the average joe.

"Only the best guy ever! Evan Scott." Will slaps her a high five while I force out my best fake smile. She returns my smile and launches into a story I don't hear.

I recall my night at the laptop. Evan Scott, ha. What a coincidence the one person I consider making friends with here would date that fucking scum. Not only was he a werewolf, he was a hybrid. With Monica Hadria Scott. Lisa Verda's sister. If Eveanna had no involvement before she surely would now. I have been slightly suspicious of her because of my unnatural pull towards her but I've refrained from surveying her outside of here because she'd given me no reason to. Now I might have to.
