Y/N's P.O.V

"Wait it out?" Camila asked in a quiet voice after I voiced my thoughts on the matter out loud. While waiting it out seemed like the smartest option, hearing Camila saying it made it more real.

It made me realize how stupid the idea was.

We shouldn't have even been in this situation in the first place; why should we wait it out and work around Camila's parents not accepting her for who she is? They should show her love no matter what and Camila shouldn't need to pay for that in anyway, let alone losing her own home and the people she loves.

"No, fuck waiting." I growled with a sense of finality dripping from my tone. Camila's brown eyes widened with shock as I rose from the park bench where we'd settled, clenching my fists as I stormed off back in the direction of her house.

Anger clouded my senses and I could practically feel steam shooting out from my nose and ears. Camila only managed to catch up to me once I'd returned to the front door of her house. I wasn't sure what I was going to do, but I was sure I was going to do something

"Y/N, please, it's not worth i-" I could hear Camila's distressed voice calling from right behind me, but I simply ignored it as I burst in through the wooden door, squaring my shoulders back. As soon as my eyes locked onto the man who had just kicked the girl I love out of her own home, I could barely hold myself back.

And while knowing this definitely wasn't the best way to go about things, it was better than just waiting around for people who obviously wouldn't ever be accepting of what we needed them to be. So I jolted forward to punch Camila's father square in the face.

Before anyone else could make any moves, I leant down to where he was on the ground to roughly grab him by the collar. It was almost as if I had no control over my limbs, I could only watch as my fist collided with his face over and over.

"I shouldn't love Camila more than you do!" My voice fell from my mouth very slurred, the words almost sounding like they weren't real. "She's your daughter!!" My eyes felt so heavy as I stared at the blood trickling down along his face and spattering onto his clothes. I could no longer hear the noises our contact made and the view in front of me was slowly blurring and fading, almost as if I was underwater.

Camila latched onto my shoulder, shaking me and trying to pull me out. "Stop, Y/N! Stop it!" The way my heart was thumping loudly in my chest suddenly became audible, shaking my whole body and making my limbs go numb with adrenaline. "Y/N!"

When I finally closed my eyes, I opened them again to see a dark and familiar room. My own uneven and quickened breathing echoed throughout the mostly empty space, a thin layer of sweat covering my whole body.
