First Love - A Greyson Chance Love Story

Chapter 32

     At night that day, I called Madge and Penelope at the phone.

     "Hey, Madge. Hey Penelope! Can I get a favor?" I asked them.

     "Sure."

     "Sure. What's that?" Madge said.

     "Well, is it okay if we bake cupcakes tomorrow for Greyson? He won the contest and I want to surprise him. It's okay if you can't help me..."

     "I'll surely help! Yeah, I saw his photo before going home. The picture's so sweeeet!" Penelope said.

     "I'll help! Yeah, I actually blushed when I saw it. You guys really make a cute couple!"

     "Awh thank you guys! Hahaha nahhh... His dad was the one who took the picture by the way." 

     "His dad obviously like you for Greyson. Yiiiiieee!" 

      "Oh shut up, Madge. Hahaha!"

      "Can we just make the cupcakes here at my house, Sophie?" Madge asked.

      "Oh of course! See you tomorrow at 2PM?" 

      "See you, Soph!" 

      "See you! Call Greyson now. Yiiiiieee! Hahaha just kidding. Bye!"

      Oh I'm so excited to surprise Greyson. It will be really really awesome. 

      I woke up at 7AM to do some chores. Mom cooked baked cookies for Madge and Penelope. My mom makes the best homemade cookies ever! 

     At quarter to 2PM, I already went to Madge's. Their kitchen is so big. And their oven is as big as our fridge! Anyway, we gathered all the ingredients and let Penelope instruct what to do since she's been baking super delish cupcakes. We're about to do red velvet cupcakes.

     While mixing eggs, flour and everything, we were talking about school, drama club and...Greyson. 

     "Tell me more about the beach thing, Sophie! Please?" Madge said. 

     "Well, what do you want to know? Hahaha!" 

     "What did he say?"

     "He said that...he loves me. That's it."

     "Oh my gosh, that's so sweet! I'm so jealous! I hope some guy will do that to me too." 

     "Awh, Madge. Just wait. He'll come! We never know, maybe it's Zac Efron."

     She giggled. "Oh yes, someone hot like Zac please! Hahaha."

     So we continued in mixing ingredients and put it in a tray. We baked 20 cupcakes since we're gonna write "Congrats Greyson" on it. And the excess will be for us! Hahaha :) We tasted it and I think these are the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. Penelope's such a pro in baking. We also made a vanilla-flavored frosting for the letters. I was the one who wrote on the cupcakes. It looks kinda awful because of my handwriting but yeah. I hope Greyson will like it :3 We put the cupcakes on these beautiful box. Madge put a ribbon on it. 

     "So here's the plan. We go to Greyson's, and give it to him. Let's bring silly strings for more fun! Hahaha. I brought 5 bottles here on my backpack. Ready?" I said.

     "This is gonna be fun. Hahaha!" 

     So we went at Greyson's. It's almost 5PM already. 

     We pushed the doorbell and thank God, it's Mrs. Chance who opened the door.

     "Hi, aunt Lisa. Is Greyson there?" I whispered.

     "Oh yes! Come in."

     "Oh thank you, Mrs. Chance"

     "Go straight to the kitchen He's there."

     So I brought my bag with me and we all went to the kitchen. I saw a blonde girl sitting right next to Greyson. Alexa and Tanner are also there. And there's this huge ice cream cake on the table. Yes, it's Amber.

     "Why is Amber here?" Penelope said.

     "I also don't know. Maybe let's just go home?" I said.

     "What? No! We baked cupcakes for nothing? And who is Amber anyway, right? Cmon!" Madge said as she pushed me to the kitchen. 

     "Oh...Hi Greyson. Hi Amber. How are you guys doing?"

     "Hey, Sophie. What brings you here? Hi Madge. Hi Penelope!"

     "Oh...uhm...we brought you cupcakes. Congrats for winning the contest. Okay we'll go now. We just dropped by to give you these."

     "What are you saying Sophie? Aren't we gonna stay for a while?" Penelope whispered.

     "Thank you. Did you guys bake these?"

     "Well yeah... Need to go now, bye Greyson." I said as I turn around.

     He grabbed my arms, and I looked at him again.

     "Stay a little more?" He said while giving me puppy eyes.
