Notes:

As of  December 1st.

I'm currently going through and heavily editing this series. Not just spelling errors and grammatical errors and formating but also adding and deleting some stuff to make it sound better. {I also have been adding more emotion to Derek because I feel like I didn't really do Sterek justice, until later in the series.} Anyway, if you've already read this series and are coming back through, I thought I should explain why things look different. Anyway thanks for reading:)

Outside POV:

And so Stiles' road trip was underway. It was a long two-day trip. When Stiles checked the directions beforehand, it said that the trip was at least 24 hours and some change. Stiles probably could have made the trip in one day hyped on caffeine, but he decided to go the safer route and take a break in a motel along the way. His jeep did not need another accident from him acting stupid.

It was still a long trip, even with the bathroom breaks and food stops. He had to stop at a roadside dinner because he needed coffee and got into a conversation with an older man, and he tried to get out of it, but the older man just kept droning on, and that set Stiles back an hour.

But after arriving at Sioux Falls, he became confused. The directions Bobby gave were perfect up until he got into town. The instructions said to take Older Town Road and then make a left after half a mile, and you would end up at Singer Salvage Yard. But after driving in frustrating circles for over twenty minutes, Stiles just could not find this place. He drove all over the town, but there was no road sign pointing to Older Town Road anywhere. After a bit of grumbling and cursing at his map, he decided to pull into a dinner in the middle of town. One of the locals had to know where the heck Older Town Road was. They had to.

After walking into the dinner, Stiles walks to where a lonesome waitress was standing.

"Um, excuse me?" Stiles asked, getting her attention.

An older woman turned to Stiles with a smile on her face and her notepad at the ready.

"Yes, hun! What can I get for you?" She asked sweetly.

Stiles smiled as well; he was quite used to the charms of a small town, as he lives in one himself.

"Oh, I'm not ordering anything; I actually am a bit lost. Can you help?" Stiles asks, placing the mask down on the counter and bringing out his written directions.

"See, I was looking for Older Town Road, but I can't find it for the life of me. I've been driving in circles for an hour now, and I can't find it." Stiles told the lady.

The waitress, whose name tag read Jenny, laughed like his misfortune was funny. But she wasn't so cruel. She was laughing because, of course, he was headed down the one road whose sign got hit and broken by the town drunk. Stiles sighed, just his luck. Figures why he didn't find it, because it wasn't even there.

"Ah, I see. So is there any other way I can find it?" Stiles asks cause he really didn't want to have to call Bobby to help him. That would have been embarrassing.

"Sure, let me draw your instructions from leaving the parking lot. Also, where are you headed, hun? There's not much down this road, just a dead-end leading to the woods and a crapy salvage yard." Jenny said as she was writing down the directions.

Stiles giggled a bit a the crappy Salvage yard comment since that was his destination.

"Oh, well, I am headed to the Salvage Yard actually," Stiles said as he was just standing there swinging his idle hands.
