It wasn't at all hard to look like a guy-- I looked like a guy, anyway. Pretty much, everyone says that I looked like my dad. Well, then, that's pretty nice of them to say that (I am being sarcastic, mind you).
"Anna, I need you today," I spoke on the phone immediately, as Anna answered the phone. "What is it now?" she snapped. "Why are you so snappy?" I asked, surprised of her reaction. "Yeah, as if you don't know how I feel, eh?" she said, almost shouting on the line. "Hey, is this about me going to Taiwan again?" I asked. "Why are you so guilty? Did I say it was about that?" she said. She kept on blabbing on the phone until it reached to the point when all I could hear was "Lalalala" over and over again. I couldn't resist the temptation to just bang the phone on its holder and stop her from being such an insane PMS-ing teenager. "Yeah, cause all you thought about all this time was me, right? Cause I am your best friend in the whole wide world and not Hallie," that was her last sentence before she hanged up. It was full of sarcasm and anger. I could've called her again and be hysterical on the phone but then I didn't. I figured that it would be best to keep my cool for a bit and let her breathe some air and think about the situation.
*RING!*
I picked up the phone. "Jake?" I said, "What's up?"
"Yo, I got something to tell you. Mom, Dad and I thought of giving you a present, since you got the scholarship in Taiwan," he said. "You didn't have to," I chuckled. "We booked a flight for the four of us. We're going to take a tour for a while and drop you off to school," he said. Then, it hit me. It was kind of impossible for me to go to the boy's school without them noticing that I was pretending to be a guy.
