Bonnie Bennett sat on Caroline's couch in front of a roaring fire. She sighed missing the one person who meant the world to her. Kol Mikaelson. He was away dealing with problem but promised to be back soon.
They had been dating for a little over five years and were hopelessly in love with each other. It wasn't easy in any means but when you love some that deeply and are strong enough to hold on to that person you never give up.
Bonnie looked away from the fire to the clock on the wall above it. It was five minutes to twelve. It was five minutes till Christmas Eve and Kol was still not here.
She sighed deciding to wait till twelve to see if Kol will show up or she would join everyone in sleeping. As the clock slowly made its way to twelve she thought about their relationship. The clock signaled it was twelve o'clock so Bonnie stood up and was about to head to bed when she heard a knock at the door.
She knew it couldn't possibly be Kol because he would have just walked in. She hesitated for a second before going over and looking through the peep hole. She didn't see anyone and slowly opened the door, hoping her instincts were right about there not being any danger.
She opened the door wider when she didn't see anything and was shocked to see Kol with a radio and a bunch of poster paper in his hands. He smiled and held up the poster.

He then set the radio down on the porch and pressed play. One of Bonnie's favorite songs started to play. It was You Are The Reason by Calum Scott. He then moved the first board to the back of the boards and showed Bonnie the next one

Flashback to six and a half years ago
Bonnie walked down the hall to turn in her paper for her college class. She was almost there when she saw the door open and a handsome guy walk out. He looked at her and smirked and she gave him a half smile as he past by her. She got this feeling that she needed to talk to him so she turned around to face him.
"Hey you" she said. The guy turned around and gave her a questioning look. She made her way over to him before clearing her throat.
