~Hayes' POV~
The fan mail came in like crazy. Within one day i already had over 100 letters and packages. Wow i didn't think that many people would actually send stuff.

Friday came pretty quickly. I shut off my computer, which I was using for online school and grabbed my camera. I set it on the tripod and gathered all the mail.
It was crazy to think that I got over 200 letters and packages in 48 hours.
I found a chair to sit in while opening everything and started recording.
"Hey guys it's Hayes. So today i'm filming my first video and I will be opening the fan mail you guys sent me. So yeah let's grt started."

Most of the mail consisted of candy, hats, letters, drawings etc.
"Alright thank you guys so much for the mail! Be sure to like and subscribe and I'll talk to you later. Bye."
I stop recording and looked at the mess i made. I started picking up the trash and sorting the letters. Most of them were about how much they loved me and for me to follow them on every social media known to apple. Some girls put pictures of them in the letters, too.
I was about to walk out of the room when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was a bright red envolope, un-opened. Huh, must've forgot one.
I walked over and picked it up and started opening it and something fell out.
It was a picture. Holy crap.
This girl is really pretty.
She had wavy brown hair and bright hazel eyes. Her smile was perfect.
I started to read her letter;
Hayes,
I dont really know what to say so... well my name is Kat and I'm from Atlanta, Georgia. Just like pretty much every other girl, I watch your vines and follow you on instagram. Every day, you always find a way to put a smile on my face, even though your not here in person. You're probably not going to put this in your video but I just wanted to say, thank you for everything you've done to make people smile. Here's my twitter if you ever get bored.

Wow. Compared to the other letters, that one probably made me most happy.
I immediatly grabbed my phone and searched her twitter. I found her profile and looked through her tweets and pictures. God, she was perfect. She seemed so sweet, too.
"Well she's in for a surprise" I thought. And then, I hit follow.

~Kat's POV~
I was just about to fall asleep when I heard my phone buzz. It was a twitter notification, from Hayes;
"Okay guys new video is up! Here's the link ;)"
My mind started racing with thoughts.
What if he opened it?
But, what if he did'nt?
Did I write the wrong address?
What if it got lost and he never even got it?
I ran over to my desk and turned on my computer.
I went on youtube and found Hayes' channel. I clicked on the video.

He didnt open it. I knew this would happen.
Why did I have to get my hopes so high?
Just then, my phone buzzed again. It was another twitter notification.
"New follower!"
I opened up twitter and went to my notification.
Hayes Grier started following you
Oh. My. God.
WHAT??
I locked my phone, then unlocked it again. Is this real?!
It was still there. I can't believe it!! My idol actually knows who I am.
I set my phone down and ran and hopped on my bed. I screamed into my pillow.
I started jumping around my room when my phone buzzed again.
Another twitter notification.
Hayes Grier has sent you a DM.
My jaw dropped.
HOLY SHIT.
I opened the DM;
Hey beautiful. thanks for your letter ;)
HAYES GRIER JUST CALLED ME BEAUTIFUL.
"Kat, calm down. He's just a normal person" i thought.
But then again, no one has ever called me that before.
I replied to Hayes;
No problem :) thank you for reading it, it means a lot.
I got an almost instant response;
Why would'nt I?
I smiled and responded.
I thought maybe you wouldn't open it because of all your other fans.
Hayes replied back.
Nah, I've got time for you ;)
Was he flirting with me or something? Holy crap i think he was.
I DM'd him;
Well, I've gotta go... maybe we can talk tomorrow?
Hayes: sure :) here's my number xxx-xxx-xxxx
Oh my gosh. I have Hayes Grier's number. I still was in shock.
"cool ill text you tomrrow then goodnight" i said.
He quickly responded;
